I got the 1CC in #Gunvein's really cool beginner mode! The tutorial taught me about restreaming and misdirects and then the Mild mode tests those skills. Super fun! I feel like I learned a lot.

@FunkyStrong69 ZeroRanger has been a blast! I'm having a lot of fun learning the 2-4 boss! Batsugun looks really cool too

@FinalMasonry When I play shmups I can't play any other action game. They give same type of gameplay experience while being completely better.

@Spiders_STG I can think of 2 good reasons for these ports at least. The first is that sometimes they add improvements like Final Fight for the Mega Drive added new modes and 3 player co-op with the same character. The second is some systems are easier to emulate

Made the "news" lol For the record, I think homebrew coding and making new tools for old hardware is awesome. However... if the result is "what if" vibe-ports of beloved games to right the wrongs of the Console Warz, I do think it's creatively bankrupt nostalgia-pilling. Sorry!

@Plasma_Legion I've been flip flopping between being fully committed to 1 game, and playing multiple games. I think it is good to focus at times but i dont want to keep making myself wait to learn shmups

@FinalMasonry I tried doing that with shmups and RPGs, but I am too prone to distraction. I'm also at the point where RPGs don't have much appeal for me anymore.
