@FoxScoutingNBA Would you say Tatum is a good enough passer to lead an offense?

We're not talking about LeBron James here who was a point forward w/ tremendous guard skills. Dybantsa is more of a SF/PF hybrid w/ pretty meager guard skills at this stage.

If Dybantsa isn't going to be a full-spectrum offensive engine but just a scoring wing w/ crap D he's fucked.

I think the discourse around AJ Dybantsa needs more nuance, especially with the drop in production vs T50 comp: • 7.8% drop in TS% (54.8) • 5.1% drop in AST% (1.07 A/TO) • 13.9% drop in 2P efficiency (47.3%) • 0.6% BLK + 1.2% STL Struggling to see how this is a T1 prospect.

My personal board as we head into March Madness

@onballcreator @realLatifLove Dame had a 47.2 3pr his freshman season, and to the comp point, you’d have to prove that 3pr decreases as the level of competition increases for that to be a substantive point.

@realLatifLove “Last 3 years in college” is apples to oranges when comparing him to a guy who is a freshman Comparing them as freshmen = apples to apples. But even then we need to remember that Acuff is in a way tougher conference than Dame was in

In Damian Lillard’s last three years in college his shot diet consisted of a lot more threes and a lot more free throws (especially the last two seasons). Much different level of shooting prospect + a more explosive athlete. I don’t think this is the comp!

Turned 22 today. My Elgin Baylor year will be my best yet. It’s already gotten off to a great start and I’m eternally grateful for how far I’ve came. RIP a legend. He’s one of the most underrated players ever.
