@SenGaryPeters Bla bla bla... do you have any original talking points to post? You represent no one but yourself otherwise you would have voted yes.

I voted NO because the SAVE Act would make it harder for law-abiding American citizens to vote, especially married women, seniors, and Americans in rural areas. We need to make sure our elections are safe and secure. That doesn’t mean we should prevent Americans from exercising their Constitutional right to vote.

@M43532M @Bishopoftyler Death penalty affects adult convicted criminals. Infanticide affects innocent defenseless children. Big difference there. God called for the deaths of those guilty of certain sins and crimes in the Old Testament. If God called for it, then it can't be immoral.

@CatSkeptic @J3dwar @brian_boulet @MassimoFaggioli Innocent, defenseless children vs adults who made a choice to do evil and were convicted of their crimes. Didn't God call for the deaths of those who committed certain sins and crimes in the Old Testament? If God called for the death penalty can we really call it immoral?

@JMRG65 It's not intended as such. It's provided as a guide to Catholic entities that have questions about what election-related activities they can participate in and not participate in as tax-exempt organizations.

@DegePhil @queenfan1984 Death, judgement, heaven, hell. The four last things. We should not forget about what awaits all of us. Out of love and in kindness we have been told that we have responsibilities and will be held accountable for our choices.

@queenfan1984 I am a Catholic and fully support a priest like this. We need to take a more loving stance and see our Lord for what he truly is… the King of Peace. Its about time the sermons evolve into a loving God who welcomes us. Enough trying to scare the faithful.

Oh dear. The priest spent his whole homily today denying the doctrine of Hell. And "Gather Us In" was sung. Another local parish to strike off the list - I am running out of options.

@Bishopoftyler Thank you Bishop Strickland! I just wrote my congressman and asked him to not support this deceptive and immoral act.

The irony of the “Respect for Marriage Act” now before Congress is tragic. It is in truth a blatant denial of God’s plan for humanity & places us in great peril. All who love God & seek to live His Commandments must go on record opposing this travesty & denial of God’s Law.

@WolfePack_Dad @KCSLunchLady @PEScorpiio Children in the womb have their own God given dignity as well. Abortion is selfish. That's a big part of the reason why it is evil. Jesus said "...this is my body given up for you" while those who abort a child say to the child, this is your body given up for me.

@unrealbobtaylor @PEScorpiio @LOLGOP Does one trust God enough to cooperate with Him and have a family on His terms? Desire to have a family on one's own terms demonstrates one doesn't trust and may even reject God.

@MichaelSNoone @Bishopoftyler I love myself enough to not want to take experimental drugs due to the their risks and very high survival rate of this virus. Reward not worth the risk to me. Because I love my neighbor as myself I do not insist they take a health risk to save me under the circumstances either.

@Bishopoftyler Interesting input, but selfishness in not vaccinating and not helping others seems to be the over-riding motivation. The bishop loses sight of Jesus' 2nd commandment?

@Lnz371 @Bishopoftyler Repentant sinners. Repentant is key. We need to avoid sacrilegious reception of the Eucharist. Jesus spoke about the importance of worthy reception of the Eucharist.

The Catholic faithful are crying out for clear truth. Abortion is murder. Advocating for murder is sinful. Communion is the Body & Blood, Soul & Divinity of Jesus Christ, receiving Communion with no repentance or Confession of sin is itself sinful, no matter who you are. Truth!

@latimer_hugh @Bishopoftyler Death penalty not = to abortion. Innocent, defenseless murdered children vs convicted decision making adults. in the US alone 62+ million murdered children since 1973 vs about 1500 executed criminals since 1976.

@Bishopoftyler Communion is not a price..... It is nourishment for the journey of life. It's for all sojourners, and the invitation is more importantly for the weak and impious. To strengthen them in the journey, and for the salvation of their souls. Those who are healthy like you don't need a dr
