Part 2 ending on a subversion of superhero wish fulfillment fails anyway because ChainsawMan is a symbol of terror after the Church arc, ppl broadly fear him.

chainsawman fans never want to discuss the story in it’s current state, when it was running weekly one of the main excuses was that the format was ruining your perception of the story and that now it’s all wrapped they’re saying to give the ending “more time”.

Chainsaw Man I knew could have had potential but squandered it early because the author got bored with his own conceit (multiple times) — he’s much better with short stories than long works— everyone crumbles with their ambitious long shonen series’ when confronted with the ongoing truth of One Piece.

I've been reading Chainsaw Man since it debuted and honestly? I'll be sad to see it go but knowing that Denji eventually got friends and still has a found family because of himself and not because he was Chainsaw Man is the best ending Fujimoto could've given him, and us

All the manchildren anime fans are mad because the author is telling them to grow up and to stop watching porn. I agree with the criticism of part 2 being mid but not the ending. The middle section of CSM2 was bad
