Bitterling fish eggs develop on mussel gills. A study finds that these fish embryos execute an extraordinary front-flip that positions protrusions from their yolk sac so the embryos can adhere to mussel gills and resist attempts to expel them. In PNAS: ow.ly/sZNh50QH8S9
