From 1.1.2023 the UCI will abolish junior gearing restrictions based on limited availability of equipment needed and in addition to medical evidence that no longer supports the restrictions. Backwards step surely, their bodies are not fully developed yet. 🤔

@alexdowsett Profile. Stackable pad height up to 70mm with spacers, fit whatever poles you want. Pads aren’t amazing, but nothing is without aftermarket and you can always bolt something different on.

Twitter, i’m calling on you recommendations please for a bicycle part I’ve had no use for since I was 14, Clip on tri bars for a round tubed handlebar that’s 31.8mm diameter. Secure armrests, not mad long, doesn’t need shifting capabilities.

@jamesphewitt Absolutely agree with this, James. In a cycling context, the best riders I work with are the ones that can absorb the workload consistently over the long term without injury/illness. That durability is part of the definition of ‘talent’.

@IOIWBelgian Definitely not horrendous, all other things being equal. Position of seat and/or significant pelvic twist/tilt can make them feel that way though. There are also seats with properly engineered cut outs and seats that have a hole cut in them…

@AndyTurner132 I use an Exposure rear light year round, whatever the weather. Anecdotally, I’d say it buys you some space from motorists.
