‘Miracle: The Boys of ’80,’ which is currently airing on Netflix, is absolutely tremendous. The U.S. defeating the Soviets at the Lake Placid Games has been featured in so many docs and shows but this one felt so fresh even though the miracle happened 45 years ago. Great work by directors Jake Rogal and Max Gershberg.

Chuck Klosterman, the man who literally wrote the book on the '90s, explains how Seinfeld captured the consensus sense of humor of the time. How we felt was optional in the '90s, similar to Seinfeld's 'No Learning, No Hugging model. Gen X didn't protest as much because how we felt was optional, we weren't told how we should feel, we made our own choices, we valued independent thinking and our sense of humor reflected that.
