I went to a community yard sale this morning. The only thing I found was this Jethro Tull double LP for a buck for my friend. And I did get to pet two nice dogs and one of them was named Milkshake. That's a win!

A little bit more on why the Atlantic may be in serious trouble on its @Kash_Patel piece: If they had even one photo or video or email or text or phone recording or document or person on the record, or even one specific date for his alleged drunkenness, they'd have a much stronger defense. But they don't. And even if they can show the piece accurately depicted his freaking out and worrying he had been fired when he couldn't log into to his FBI account, they may not be protected on the allegations about his drinking. Those are separate - and much more reputationally harmful - than alleging he is afraid for his job or bad at it. A judge may want the writer to show at a minimum that the people she referenced are both real and had some evidence to back their allegations, evidence that she was able to review. We will see.

@Flagellatus My rheumy really tried to push it, even trying to push the potential for diabetes. But the NHS has specific treatment pathways with very strict criteria. I’m gonna try with my own insurance and if they tell me to get lost I should be able to get them online.

Yip. I’m clinically obese thanks to rheumatoid arthritis & the meds I take to keep me healthy(Ish). My rheumy recommended weight loss jabs, put it in writing to my GP, to help protect my joints & reduce inflammation GP refused, referred me to fucking Weight Watchers 🙄

@poisoned_Ivy_ @stephenRB4 The last two shows I saw were at old 1920’s theaters and the seating for our ancestors is truly inadequate for the modern person. At the last one, the guy behind me had legs that were too long for the space between aisles and I felt his every move in my back…😖

The ageism on social media is wild! Most recently, a young woman saying that men aged 40 or above shouldn’t go to live music events because it’s ’weird’.
Really? Go fuck yourself. People, whatever their age, can enjoy whatever music they want to. And I’ll say nothing about the young folk prancing about in their Nirvana t-shirts who can’t name the bass player or name more than two songs off ‘Nevermind’.
