What a great afternoon getting to tour Flagger Force’s headquarters in Swatara Township! Flagger Force provides short-term traffic control services on roads undergoing construction and road work, keeping workers and drivers safe from Pennsylvania to Florida.

Got behind one of those Flagger Force trucks this morning. They could not pick a consistent speed at which to keep forward momentum and would weave in and out of the center of the road. It’s 4am so there’s no traffic but it made for a lovely few miles before I could pass

@FlaggerForce ...... your stupid arrow sign and the 3 cones in front of it has been parked in my LIMITED parking neighborhood since LAST Friday. And now today the sign, cones, and now your pickup truck is parked taking up 3 PARKING spots. We have old and disabled people here wtf

as a pennsylvanian, i can confidently say public enemy #1 is ofc the pot holes but public enemy #2 n i mean CLOSE second, is the flagger force mfs that direct traffic at construction sites. mfs got cigs hanging out their mouths making you wait 7 minutes to make a left turn.

@jedweeks @MyBGE It’s not just the BGE folk - it is their contractors as well. For example, @flaggerforce regularly installs trailers with lighted signs on or in curb cutouts and sidewalks as well as their “road work ahead” signage on same. Do better - know the law and do the right thing.

ADA: Federal Law for 11,409 days. @MyBGE: we're rapidly learning how to incorporate this law into our construction practices right now.
