🚨 Liam Rosenior on people mocking him passing the note to Garnacho: "It doesn't affect me. I'm not surprised. The reality is I need to help this club to win football games. If I don't, maybe if I breathe wrong or sneeze wrong, people will talk about it." (@BobbyVincentFL) #CFC

@cfc_timmie He will be successful with us or his next club. He’s probably the least of our problems.

Dear optimists, Nothing against Rosenoir, he seems like a nice guy but he’s not a Chelsea calibre of manager. He’s not a project manager either. We can’t afford to waste more years

@alexalcarz @ralpha060461 I think Liam is a talented coach who can go far in the game. His opportunity at Chelsea has come from probably too soon. It would be great to have Terry and Thiago in his coaching team.

@ralpha060461 You don’t need experienced players on the field; you need experienced people on the coaching staff, people who can pass on all that experience to the young players. We’re hiring coaches who have no experience at all. What results are we expecting?

@objective_cfc No matter the circumstances, I will always support the team. I want BlueCo to fix their project, not the team to lose to “force” that to happen. I also don’t believe BlueCo will change strategy regardless of results, so might as well support the team anyways.

@mc25v1 @objective_cfc They are loaded. Define how they suffer. The only ones who suffer are the fans. By all means protest the owners but support the 11 on the pitch.

@MG09123 Going to a game doesn’t always mean you’re there to support the team. I have about 7 or 8 people who sit around me at the bridge who despise the team. They don’t even get out of their seat when we score - legit pissed 😅

Many Chelsea supporters think the decision to sell Chelsea FC to the US consortium BlueCo in 2022 was unwise and has worked out badly. Just to remind you, the culture secretary responsible for approving the deal was Nadine Dorries, and the prime minister was Boris Johnson.

I’ll adore Chelsea football club until my dying day, but so much is simply unrecognisable. Even back in the early 90s before the likes of Zola we had a side to be proud of. These days, we are a poor side, coached by a complete wet wipe, run by absolute jokers. Soulless.
Scotty Hayter@ScottyHayter

Only advice for those suffering re Chelsea is to make peace with the below: We’ll lose to Arsenal over 2 legs (be close) Finish between 7th and 11th in the League (circa 60 pts) Have a decent Jan/Feb, struggle Mar - May Knocked out of CL Last 16/QFs Will get toxic on here

In terms of targets I’ve not heard much outside the usual names like Morgan Rogers. Wharton and Baleba are two targets amongst others the club like for a potential midfield addition, but much will depend on what happens with Lavia’s fitness, Enzo and Essugo. On outgoings, it’s expected that at least three centre backs will look to be sold. Chelsea will likely brief confidence in them to not de value and deter offers. The striker and goalkeeper situation is also going to be reviewed, with Liam Delap not doing as well as some inside the club expected. 4/4.

Chelsea are behind Liam Rosenior and sympathise that he has come into a situation where the squad is said to be ‘knackered’ and has not had appropriate time to implement his ideas. Summer target lists are underway with all eventualities being considered, as Chelsea feel UCL qualification will likely come down to fine margins in May. There is no current suggestion that the model will be changed. Chelsea also feel that contract statues with many current stars wanting more money is further proof that it would not be wise to chase signings that would be looking for a high base salary. The club want players to be together as a team and earn their money. There is not an appetite to create an entitled and unhealthy culture and the cost to risk ratio is high. Directors are working within the financial restrictions and the model put in place by Behdad Egbhali. There may be an odd exception but generally this is what I’m told. The club are open to spending high transfer fee’s but not salaries straight away. 1/3…

Wesley Fofana is always in the public spotlight for bad reasons , paid huge money for him , can barely play 2 straight matches , always injured , always doing something on camera or posting weird stuff on the internet. He should be first to move out of the club this summer. Overrated player

Look, we get it! It's a popular time to dunk on Chelsea. Kicking us while we're down, etc. But let's not rewrite history; the CWC was rated, Madrid even paid 10 mil for Trent early, and PSG took it seriously. South American clubs were all bang on it. Also, winning the CWC made sure we won it ALL. That's special, whether you like it or not. Besides, we have bigger problems than the placement of a trophy on a banner, ffs.
Matt Law@Matt_Law_DT

This seemed to wind a lot of people up last week. I stand by it. There was a banner in the Matthew Harding stand displayed before kick-off last night that displayed all of Chelsea’s trophies. And slap bang in the middle of it - much bigger than all the others - was the Club World Cup. It was good at the time but nobody outside Chelsea rates it. Forget about it, move on and concentrate on winning a trophy that will really send a statement.
