So here are Iran’s peace terms, published in the Wall Street Journal. Non-aggression guarantee. Control of the Strait. Uranium enrichment rights. All sanctions lifted. UN resolutions scrapped. IAEA resolutions scrapped. Compensation payments for war damage. US forces out of the region. And a ceasefire covering Israel and Hezbollah as a bonus. Iran entered this war with none of that. Iran is leaving with all of it. Meanwhile the United States got a two-week trial of a strait that was already open. Masterclass, they said. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

The New York Times story from today shows exactly how Netanyahu manipulated Trump into the war in Iran, and now to the verge of economic disaster and possible use of nuclear weapons: 1) Netanyahu was the primary driver of the military campaign, spending months pressing the U.S. for a major assault. In a high-stakes Feb. 11 Situation Room meeting, he delivered a pivotal presentation arguing that Iran was "ripe for regime change". 2) He and Mossad Director David Barnea presented intelligence suggesting that intense bombing, combined with Mossad-fomented civil unrest and ground incursions by Kurdish fighters, would lead to the Iranian regime's collapse. 3) When questioned by U.S. officials, Netanyahu argued that the "risks of inaction" far outweighed the risks of a strike, asserting that the Iranian ballistic missile program could be destroyed within weeks with minimal blowback. 4) To avoid leaks and pushback, the key Situation Room meeting on Feb. 11 was kept small. Vance was in Azerbaijan and unable to return in time, leaving the path clear for Netanyahu to make his pitch directly to the president. 5) While intelligence assessments were pessimistic, Trump deferred to Netanyahu’s confidence, believing that a U.S.-led mission could "finally bring an end" to the Islamic Republic. The story is clear. This was a pet project of Netanyahu and he used his sizable manipulation talents on Trump, who proved highly susceptible. This led us to the current disaster. That is not a conspiracy theory and it is not antisemitism. It is a fact.

Anthropic tried to kill 8,100 GitHub repos. Then this happened > They filed a DMCA. GitHub nuked the entire network within hours. Developers got notices for forks of Anthropic's OWN public repo - one guy's fork had zero leaked code. > Boris Cherny, head of Claude Code, had to go on X personally: "This was not intentional. Should be better now." > Meanwhile Sigrid Jin - who used 25 billion Claude Code tokens last year - woke up at 4AM and rewrote the entire thing in Python before sunrise. DMCA can't touch a clean-room rewrite. > It hit 50K stars in 2 hours. Fastest repo in GitHub history. > Today claw-code officially launched as an independent project with a formal press release. And the Rust port merged today - what started as a panic rewrite now ships release 0.1.0. > 140K stars. 102K forks. More than Anthropic's own repo. > 512,000 lines are in the wild forever. What started as Anthropic's biggest embarrassment just became their most dangerous competitor. You cannot make this up.

🦔 Oracle laid off between 20,000 and 30,000 employees Tuesday morning, roughly 18% of its global workforce, via a single email sent at 6am EST with no prior warning. System access was revoked almost immediately after. The cuts are expected to free up $8-10 billion in cash flow. Oracle's stock has lost more than half its value since September 2025 and the company now carries over $124 billion in debt, up from $89 billion a year ago, with free cash flow running negative $10 billion last quarter. My Take Oracle posted a 95% jump in net income last quarter and still eliminated 18% of its workforce by email before most people finished their morning coffee. This is not a company in distress in the traditional sense. It's a company that made an enormous debt-funded bet on AI infrastructure and is now converting its workforce into cash flow to service that debt. We've covered Oracle's AI gamble for months. The $300 billion OpenAI deal through Stargate, $50 billion in capital expenditure this fiscal year, over $124 billion in total debt. Multiple US banks have pulled back from financing Oracle-linked data center projects. Bondholders have sued Oracle claiming it concealed how much additional debt the OpenAI deal would require. The credit default swap spread hit a three-year high earlier this year, meaning debt investors are genuinely nervous about getting paid back. The workers who got that 6am email built the products Oracle has monetized for decades. The bet that eliminated their jobs was made by people who were already paid regardless of how it turns out. That is the part of the AI infrastructure race that doesn't show up in the capex announcements. Hedgie🤗

This isn’t a small deal. Restaurant Depot is where most mom & pop restaurants go to buy inventory because Sysco is so expensive. Restaurant Depot was privately owned. Sysco is owned by… you guessed it, BlackRock & Vanguard. Now private equity can control pricing for food costs with zero competition. Just like they did with housing. This should be an anti-trust violation, but we have politicians that work for Big Corp, not us.
Jonathan Maze@jonathanmaze

Notable deal in distribution this morning. Sysco is buying Restaurant Depot for $29 billion. Plans to expand RD more aggressively. It gives Sysco a huge entry into cash-and-carry and a large number of independent restaurant customers. restaurantbusinessonline.com/financing/sysc…

I’m a Republican. I supported Trump. I raised money for him, I voted for him. I donated $60,000 to his campaign. Trump lied. He rugpulled us all. I didn’t vote for Lindsey Graham / America Second policies. You can disagree with me if you want. It’s your right to be fooled. But if you say I have “TDS” or am a “liberal” you need a new argument. There are millions of conservatives and members of the now torched “broad coalition” just like me. The only ones left supporting him are MAGA always Trumpers who place the man above the policies and our country.

Silicon Valley thinks AI agents are a $20/mo self-serve subscription. Main Street is paying local agencies $10,000 just to turn them on. Everyone assumes AI will be bought primarily online like Slack or Zoom. I think they are wrong. Some of the biggest winners in the AI boom won't be the software vendors. It will be the humans installing it. Here is the reality of SMBs right now: • 54% lack internal AI expertise. • 41% have data quality too poor for AI to even work. • 41% already prefer buying AI through a local IT provider. You cannot "1-click install" a genius AI into a messy CRM or a 15-year-old server. It will just execute the wrong tasks at the speed of light. The AI software will be cheap and a lot will absolutely be bought online. Making it actually work for a messy, real-world business will be expensive. Very bullish on the "Do It For Me" economy being back.

Hot take They need to split Laffy. Why? He’s the first overall pick. He’s a guy who should be driving play. He should be the Gabe Perrault or Panarin of his own line They need to get him going like how he was the creator for Oceanic If he can be that guy then we’re golden. If he’s not.. I love the kid, but do we want a passenger? What is he then without a Perrault or Panarin?

@WallStreetApes So your entire strategy is gamble your health, win once, and suddenly the system is a scam? congrats on the lucky break but try that same logic with a major surgery and see how fast that discount story disappears.

American is a healthy 28 year old, he decided to skip paying for health insurance this year because the cheapest plan was $900 per month with a high deductible He had to spend 2 nights in the ER without insurance, he breaks down the bill “This is my receipt from spending 2 days in the hospital: - It totaled about $24,000 - My CT scan alone was $8,300 - Laboratory, 6,000 - IV therapy, $1,020, $4,000 in total And while $24,000 seems like a lot of money, let me show you something. This is what I'm actually paying, $2,478 because when you don't have insurance, these hospitals give you a discount. They discounted $22,000 off of this bill” “But if I had insurance, I wouldn't have gotten that discount. So it would've been a $24,000 bill billed to my insurance, and then my insurance would've said, ‘Hey, you have a $5,000 deductible. You need to pay $5,000 for this last emergency room visit.’ Then you tack on the $900 a month that I'd be paying for that insurance. I'd be paying $20K this year for healthcare. So the craziest part about this is even if I have another hospital visit, by the end of this year, I'm still gonna be paying less than I would if I had insurance. At minimum, my cost for healthcare this year would've been $20,000 with insurance. Right now I'm at $2,400.” US Health Insurance is a scam
