@Greg_PTTCAY @hasanthehun I know right? Even without a gun the guy would have just thrown a pocket knife at him from the other side of the room and stabbed him accurately enough to kill him. Surely.

@Devychevy105 @flackospalace The red button gamble is to coordinate 100% of the population or people die whereas no deaths occurs with only 50% on blue

You’re voluntarily making the choice to pick that blue button and take the gamble of killing everyone unless it’s coordinated and lines up to 50%. Scenario calls for private vote so this coordination is not happening. So you’re banking on people taking that risk with you. So the choice is obvious. Take a gamble with your life and everyone else’s. Or do nothing. There’s nothing to save here. You’re not choosing to kill anyone by picking red.

Holy hell. This interview were asked two gay men with a baby if they’d heard the stats on child molestation and they immediately became violent and assaulted him.

@austiinxbt @GuyNamedSleve @Pseudomymous @AlgorithmOga @PolitlcsUK I am fully employed and am aware than all other businesses in my field pay basically the same amount. The minimum needed to maintain staff. Your idea is telling the £11.50 waiter to look for a £12.50 bartending role somewhere. They all pay the same my friend

have you ever had a job in your life? if somewhere offers better working conditions & salary then you leave to a competitor who wants your labor for a better price I first hand have gotten a pay rise recently in my tech role as the industry has seen massive investment & competitors are paying significantly more study economics for more than 5 minutes, I beg you

🚨 NEW: Green leader Zack Polanski will call for policies to end the "affordability crisis" tomorrow - The introduction of a 10:1 pay ratio, whereby the highest-paid employee earns no more than ten times the lowest-paid - Free school meals for all primary and secondary pupils - Universal energy bill support for households and stronger rent controls - A customs union with the EU to cut business costs

@austiinxbt @GuyNamedSleve @Pseudomymous @AlgorithmOga @PolitlcsUK Yes buddy competition will force amazon to pay their workers more. Keep believing on that If we remove regulations the companies will start paying out excellent wages instead of pocketing the money themselves like they totally haven’t done in the past

if they minimise it, then the employees will work elsewhere if there is enough competition in free markets which is why we should incentivise competition & more free markets supply & demand of labor, if you have a valuable skill, you will be paid appropriately legislation is exactly the problem

@austiinxbt @GuyNamedSleve @Pseudomymous @AlgorithmOga @PolitlcsUK Amazon does not exist to employ them it exists to make money for itself. Employment is an expense the business will try to minimise. Excess money wont go to the employees it will go to Jeff bezos. To give employees more, we must legislate against amazon, not give it tax cuts

@RomanaFirst @fuckyouiquit Most homeless people are mentally ill, not incapable of working. Better social programs prevent dumpster diving. Willfully getting people sick out of suicidal empathy isn't better. Learn to type and punctuate next time. Blocked. I hate talking to people who can't type.

@CaraLisette Few years ago I made £310k; fucked my life/health; not sustainable or worthwhile especially since effective tax rate was 45%. Asked for demotion, on paper salary halved but much lower tax rate means take home is still ok though one fewer person to pay for your benefits.

@AC1419872 @smileundercover @CaraLisette If all teachers change jobs who will teach the kids? Are you people stupid? And no. Not all teachers can become head of department or headmasters for obvious reasons. Perhaps, we should pay them more to increase demand and standards.

@Xhakaed @pmonacelli Tescos CEO should pay himself £400,000 and give his employees £40,000. Let’s not pretend his salary is his actual income by the way no ceo makes money that way

@pmonacelli Okay, so Tesco’s CEO gets paid £1.64m base as it stands. Do you suggest that the business can afford to/will be willing to pay everyone £164,000? Whether you like it or not, it functions as a cap. I really don’t understand why everyone is avoiding this reality.

@PolitlcsUK The 10:1 pay ratio would mean any business employing apprentices on minimum wage would have to pay their CEO £80 per hour or less. As a hypnotherapist, Zack Polanski charged £145 per hour.
