Air France’s Airbus A380 fleet was small, only 10 aircraft but it still operated over 20,000 flights from Paris CDG.
Routes ranged from New York to Abidjan, Mexico City and even a one-off Olympic flight to Rio.
The A380 era ended in 2020… too early? 🤔✈️

It is exaclty two weeks since #Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed by #Israel in an air raid.
Yet the regime is still hesitating to hold a public burial ceremony for him.
Perhaps it is worried that anti-regime members of the public may take advantage from the ceremony and protest, as was the case during Ayatollah Rafsanjani's burial in January 2017.
Or that the Israel air force may hold a flypast during the burial ceremony, as was the case during Hassan Nasrallah's burial in February 2025.

Harriet Baldwin argued drilling more oil and gas in the North Sea improves “energy security”.
Fiona Bruce challenged her:
“If North Sea gas is sold on the international market, how does drilling more make the UK more secure?”
Baldwin had no answer … bc there isn’t one.
The Tories sold off our oil and gas instead of managing it like Norway.
Then Brexit took the UK out of the European Union Internal Energy Market and doubled down on gas priced on global markets.
Now they claim drilling more gas we don’t control will make us secure.
❌ It won’t.

That’s not a level playing field but it is the reality of Brexit.
Britain weakened its negotiating position.
And once you’re weaker, bigger economies like the US set the terms.

Right now, on the streets of Munich and other cities, people are calling for support for freedom in Iran. We saw it. Ukraine does not share a border with Iran. We’ve never had a conflict of interest with the Iranian regime. But the Iranian Shahed drones they sold to Russia are killing our people and destroying our infrastructure. The Iranian regime has already done – and can still do – more harm than many other regimes could do in a century. And yet this regime still exists. And it hopes to survive everything – even this crisis.
Today, the people of Iran expect from the world what we in Ukraine needed on February 24, when the Russian invasion began – unity, determination, and speed. Of course, speed. Speed in support. And regimes like the one in Iran must not be given time. When they have time, they only kill more. They must be stopped immediately. And this is exactly what should have happened with the Ayatollah – after all the wars his regime unleashed and all the lives it took – and with Putin as well: after the war in Georgia, after Syria, after 2014 and the occupation of Crimea.

Rupert is right. I went to a town recently where the whole place had been taken over by foreigners who didn’t speak the language, only ate their own weird food and didn't integrate with the locals. It was called Benidorm.

Go to Luton. Go to Rochdale. Go to Bradford. Go to Tower Hamlets. Jim Ratcliffe is right - it has been colonised by immigrants. That’s just a fact. No point pussyfooting around it. Streets and streets of entire families unable to speak in English, not working, not contributing - living under parallel legal systems. It’s not even multiculturalism in some of these areas. There is one culture - Islam. They do not want to live by the same rules as the rest of us. They choose not to be policed as the rest of us. So they’re not. What has that led to? We all know. Britain increasingly resembles the third world. And with demographic changes, birthrates and immigration transforming our country as they are? That is a process which will only accelerate unless drastic action is taken. I speak to MPs, plenty agree with me in private. They are, however, unwilling to say so publicly. That needs to change, urgently. The backlash for stating these obvious facts is aggressive, so MPs don’t do it. The intimidation works, it’s effective. But I don’t need the job, I don’t need the money. I’m just going to carry on telling the truth. Let's continue to kick the shit out of the Overton window - that is step one. Ratcliffe is right. And I respect him for having the balls to say it.

@SpaethFlies @BoeingAirplanes The tail antenna was HF, this would only be required for trans-oceanic flights. Any aircraft without would be restricted to domestic/continental service only. I can’t imagine what the with/without would be, domestic carriers would need some aircraft to be HF for Honolulu etc.

I’ve just driven the B4020 in West Oxfordshire and asked my passenger to film (apologies not the best quality but it’s good enough to see the road)
