@jdcrowley @Fly_Pete @isaiah_bb The median home price is $400k. And median means half the homes cost less. Where I live in Tucson AZ a city of $1M you can get a small brand new home for this. And similar homes are available all over the country.

I think it would be a really great reality tv show to take a couple dozen boomers, ideally recently retired, and give them entry level white-collar jobs in high cost of living cities and basically just saying "Go try to live."
