🥳 Happy 188th Birthday Liverpool Lime Street station, opened #onthisday in 1836! In 1849 the London and North Western Railway replaced the first train shed with a larger one; 153ft, 6in span in iron. At the time it was widest single span roof attempted!😮 @NetworkRailLIV
