Ben McCollum: "Trying to get them to understand that you're not just a win-a-conference-tournament-game team. You're not just a make-the-NCAA-Tournament team. You need to be able to win those games... Trying to go from really good to being great is something that is really hard to do and our kids need to understand really good is not acceptable. Kim Caldwell and Vic Schaefer were both heavily criticized for calling out their teams publicly after losses. Here's Coach Schaefer's response.
"Before you go criticizing coaches who sacrifice time with family and children, you come walk in their shoes. I will not give in to teaching these kids accountability and responsibility. That's my job."
He says its different being a coach at Tennessee and Texas compared to other schools. #Vols
