This should be a simple case. Alas we have a multi-tiered justice system that will very likely railroad the young Marine who was just trying to protect himself and his fellow citizens from a deranged vagrant. Let’s hope and pray justice is done rather than perverted.

Last take: stripped of politics, the NYC subway case seems simple. A violent homeless man with 44 arrests "went crazy" on a train, threatening an entire car. 3 men of different races restrained him, one using a hold that is generally but not always non-lethal. Sadly, he died.

The Texas House should move on this bill to ban #DEI offices and hiring practices in Texas universities. Stripping such offices of funding is a good first step in reestablishing genuine meritocracy.
