It’s like you are in the passenger seat of a car that’s moving. You are also moving at that speed, but you can still move to the backseat.

@UnkindledAsh_OW @ForceinUnison @AncapAdam @_abedamilola @YourPrimePath lol that means the moon is also moving at that speed relative to the Milky Way galaxy speed so its supposed to be constantly further and apart from the rocket as with any object inside the Milky Way so how come the rocket caught up with the moon since both are moving same speed?

It is racing through space at around 600 kilometers per second, carrying billions of stars, planets, and everything on them along for the ride. It is a good reminder that even when life feels motionless, you are always in motion.

@2sallads @AndreSegers It really depends on what you are referring to. Star Wars is so big, that you will find anything and everything in it. But the original Star Wars movie in itself was goofy and campy at times.

I feel like people just flat out ignored parts of this movie It’s explained VERY early on that she’s the Guardian of the Cosmos and is apparently so well known that Bowser is telling stories that includes her when Junior is pretty much still a baby

@AndreSegers I also want to preface that I’m fine with him in the Mario movie. I think it fits the tone of that movie. But when they make a star fox movie, I want it to be their semi adult Nintendo film. Star Wars esque.

Man this Guardian headline pisses me off. Not only because it's wrong, but because even if it weren't, it's so god damn disrespectful of the movie's creators, and anyone who considers themselves a creative. I would take man-made mediocrity over AI slop any day of the week
