Ok, I am making a bulletin board at our elementary school about “Black Excellence”. I have a few people in mind who I want to make sure to highlight. Young people who are relatable to young kids is my main goal. Any suggestions?

My son has #apraxia. He couldn’t speak until he was 4. Today, he was asked to join the gifted & talented program at his school. I’ve gone from wondering if he’ll ever graduate high school to worrying about how I’ll pay for college. Go hug a speech teacher (get consent first!)
