@jp_shurlock @HibernianSea @western_british Was the cause of the Neolithic replacement violent in nature? I’m saying the cause for said replacement was disease. You’re saying it was a violent replacement. The paper indicates beaker violence was rare and sporadic. Not enough to destroy an entire pop

@Capardheron @CatholicArena I never said I was pro life, pointing out that the existence of abortion doesn’t infringe on my right to practice my faith. You haven’t answered the antisemitism questions I asked, tactfully dodged on your part

@Fork__Handles @CatholicArena It is not about that. It is about saving life. If you are not invested in the protection of the unborn ..may i respectfully suggest that you remove the picture of Pope Francis from your profile. It is inappropriate.

The paranoid Hibernophobia sweeping some corners is bizarre There are about 2,000 Jews in Ireland, 60% of them live in Dublin, that is why the audience don't know any If you asked an Israeli TV audience how many Irish Catholics they personally know, what would the answer be?
Afshine Emrani MD FACC@afshineemrani

A moment of deafening silence that says everything. In less than two minutes, this clip captures a chilling reality on Irish television. When Boy George asks a simple, human question—“Do you know any Jewish people?”—the response isn't just quiet; it’s a void. The Confrontation While Patrick Kielty attempts to frame targeted attacks on the Jewish community through the lens of "complexity" and external conflict, Boy George cuts through the noise with radical clarity. The Callousness: Using a "backdrop" to rationalize the targeting of a minority group is not nuance; it is dismissive. The Silence: Watch Boy George’s face. The shock isn't performative—it’s the realization of how deep the isolation runs. The Dismissal: A quick "mmm" to end the conversation when it becomes too uncomfortable to face the truth. Why This Matters For too long, the Jewish community in Ireland has been ignored, gaslit, and disrespected by the very media meant to represent all citizens. To see a global icon stand up and name the erasure while the room stays silent is, quite frankly, extraordinary. "If you don't know any Jewish people, maybe that's the problem." Watch until the end. This isn't just about a talk show; it’s about the terrifying ease with which a community can be made invisible in plain sight. Thank you, @BoyGeorge, for speaking the truth in a room that wasn't ready to hear it. 🇮🇪✡️ #Ireland #BoyGeorge #StandUpToAntisemitism #Truth #JewishCommunity #LateLateShow

@jp_shurlock @HibernianSea @western_british Really? Are you going to provide anything else other than “they had weapons”? If a Greek sword was found in Britain, does that mean the Greeks invaded? You need more evidence. Can you provide a published paper to substantiate your claims? Shouting “weapons” isn’t enough

@Capardheron @CatholicArena But that’s got nothing to do with you. It wasn’t blocked at the ballot box, was it? Your Catholicism hasn’t been infringed. People of many faiths voted as is their right. You don’t have to like it, we don’t live in a theocracy

@Fork__Handles @CatholicArena Unacceptable. We have to power to block abortion through the ballot box. Pepe John Paul II is very clear about this as is Pope Leo. I refuse to render unto Caesar the bodies of the innocent unborn. Any person who votes for abortion is NOT a Catholic.

@jp_shurlock @HibernianSea @western_british That’s your extrapolation, you need a hell of a lot more evidence than just they had swords therefore it must’ve been by force. Again, the historical and archeological consensus doesn’t agree with you

@Capardheron @CatholicArena Render unto Caesar. You can be a catholic in a secular republic. Calling out mass murder committed by Israel isn’t bias, or are you going to call the pope an antisemite? Sure you can be unhappy with legalised abortion but God is the ultimate judge, not me or you

@Fork__Handles @CatholicArena RTE & Irish Times are very prejudiced against the Catholic Church and the pro life position. They are similarily biased against Israel. Politics and faith come from the same moral centre. We have abortion in Ireland because people dont inform their politics with their faith.

@jp_shurlock @HibernianSea @western_british Again, the disagreement is of how the beakers overtook the indigenous pop. Your contention is that there was armed invasion (genocide)? I’m saying there’s little to no evidence to substantiate that as the cause.

@Capardheron @CatholicArena So you’re not gonna give any examples? What do you mean as a catholic I should know media bias? You’re like an American catholic, don’t conflate your politics with your faith when it’s unnecessary

@Fork__Handles @CatholicArena Maybec you might seek out some members of the Irish Jewish community and have a conversation with them about anti semitism in this country. If you do that with an open mind i believe you will have a somewhat different view. As a Catholic surely you know the bias of Irish Media.

Irish woman Cait O’Halloran, 40, went on a vile drunken racist rant at staff at the Holiday Inn in Runcorn, Cheshire, screaming “All British people should die!”, “All British people should burn in hell!” and “F*** off and die” after a row over a new room key card, she targeted two different hotel workers in the reception and smoking area on 17 January 2026 while heavily intoxicated, police were called and she later claimed a hazy memory of the incident, at Warrington Magistrates’ Court she pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment and was fined £614 plus £331 in costs and a surcharge, the judge noted her early guilty plea and remorse but stressed she now has a criminal conviction she must declare to her employer, her solicitor said it was completely out of character and alcohol was a major factor,

@Fork__Handles @HibernianSea @western_british Some individuals were clearly armed and possibly trained fighters. Weapons in graves suggest prestige and identity tied to combat. Metallurgy would have led to more advanced weapons, and yes, they may have brought diseases with them which the locals had no immunity to.

@jp_shurlock @HibernianSea @western_british There so much unknown about the beakers and the Neolithic replacement. The predominant theory is disease, not invasion. So it’s amazing you know exactly what happened when it’s still a subject of debate

@jp_shurlock @HibernianSea @western_british Youre conflating linguistic and cultural traits with genetic identity. The existence of Celtic languages doesn’t necessarily mean a genetic link but also cultural adoption. There is no single Celtic gene. So there wasn’t ’surely’ an invasion as you’re assuming

@HibernianSea @western_british Definitely, it was continued migration , but the initial migration onto other people’s land surely must be seen as an invasion. it wasnt a systematic, organised genocide, but the male lines of the genome largely disappeared while some traces remained with the female line

@Capardheron @CatholicArena The post wasn’t defending antisemitism, it was highlighting the small pop size in Ireland and that not knowing a Jew isn’t antisemitic. Can you give examples of the ‘huge problem’? Has the government made antisemitic statements or policies?.

@CatholicArena It is not "paranoid Hibernophobia". It is a fair reaction to a huge problem in Ireland. Anti semitism. As a loyal Catholic i object to your defending Anti semitism. I suggest that you brush up on the writings of Saint John Paul II.
