Yes, in fact there were markets that were actually much *more* free for most people involved, in some places, before capitalism. Capitalism constrains markets greatly for most people, we who are "working class" which shows our function to the capitalists who imposed capitalism.

@Forrestening Depends what you mean by "piece of land" but if it's a minimum lot size and you don't want to change to another more urban form of habitation then you limit how many households can fit in the town, obviously. Maybe expand outside the town. Or go more urban and have apartments.

Air is a material of nature that nobody has to make. Same with land. We have a right to use air and land. Capitalism vioaltes our right to land. Thank goodness the capitalists are physically unable to violate our right to air. They would if they could take and rent it back to us.

@JohnRad15 I try to ask it another way. Let’s say a town has 1000 pieces of land, but 2000 people want land in the town. How do you decide who gets land who doesn’t?

@Forrestening Yes I do and I answered it. People in a family or household can share the same land and other people would hav e to work it out so they live on different land. How is this even a question you ask publicly?

These people are ridiculous. They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to "fight tyranny." They have no identity but this. And they cling to it with a death grip, because they have nothing else. None of it is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some "hero" in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting congress-free, senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country. She is an infant. She and others like her will not get their way. Not even close. If you have a modicum of common sense, it's time to let your line in the sand about tolerance be made known. Myself, I have a limit to tolerance. I have a limit to patience. I know there is a limit to free speech. Companies could save time and money if they hired people almost entirely on IQ. Not sure if that’s legal, but would make good sense. Think about it.

What I don't get about climate change deniers is why they're opposed the green transition. Say they're right and its a hoax. We still end up with a high-tech industrial revolution, more trees in urban centres, cooling systems, public transport, more EVs! Why is that bad?
