@MaroonanGoldEnj For all the belt to ass we’ve handed y’all over the years, I’d hate us too.
English

@TalkinTigue @RobsRankings My understanding is to possibly test Murph before the post season and see what he does…but at least let Hayden show some signs of regression. Kid was dealing.
English

@FournetRichard @RobsRankings You are 100% correct and exactly what I thought. He got us out of a huge inning and retired the first batter the following inning. Then gets pulled. For what?
English

Good morning @RobsRankings
In all seriousness, after losing to UNO. The Cajuns have to now win the tournament to get in??
English

@ChantTalk @SunBelt This is a tad short sighted, IMO. CCU and USM are both locks. Meanwhile, CCU playing the Cajuns gives UL a chance at an at-large. Honestly, the SBC could see 4 teams get in depending on how things unfold.
English

The @SunBelt needs to rearrange schedules and send CCU to USM the final week of the year. ULL and GS can play each other instead.
Both USM and CCU need the RPI boost to make the SBC a two-bid conference. Both could use the competition going into post season. Media would love it.

@TheSaferMan @NextRoundLive @CFBHome I should have been clearer. I’m talking about from where they were then, to now.

@LHJoshuaWrites @muskonomy Star Base and Cape Canaveral are equally susceptible to hurricanes. But I’d imagine so.

@muskonomy Will this place be built to survive hurricanes though?

NEWS: Reports suggest SpaceX may be planning a massive 136,000-acre campus in Louisiana, potentially the biggest land deal yet for the company.
The rumored site near Pecan Island and Freshwater City in Vermilion Parish would cover roughly 212 square miles, dwarfing SpaceX's current Starbase facility in Texas.
Local real estate insider Jim Keaty of Keaty Real Estate has been digging into the rumor after dozens of clients started asking about it.
No official documents have surfaced yet, but a few sources are quietly confirming the deal.
A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries employee reportedly said Governor Jeff Landry visited the site during Easter week.
Earlier reports pointed to a smaller 30,000-acre purchase near Freshwater City for a potential spaceport. The location offers remoteness, barge access for moving rockets and proximity to rocket fuel resources.
It also lines up with the aerospace incentive bills currently moving through the Louisiana legislature, which target companies investing $1 billion or more.
Louisiana already has a strong aerospace base with NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, an 829-acre complex employing roughly 3,000 people that has built rockets for over 60 years.
If confirmed, this could become one of the largest private land purchases in Louisiana history and a major expansion for the SpaceX-xAI combined company, which is also gearing up for what could be the largest IPO ever in mid-2026.

@FournetRichard @geauxnick @OS_Beaver Only in the right situation.
-block of at least 5 or 6 central schools included.
-Full share conference distribution that covers added travel cost.

@JJGREENWAVE No disrespect whatsoever, but I would not classify winning back to back AAC Tournaments as a benchmark for success. Neither of those teams were even remotely close to an At-Large. Tulane baseball has been down for quite some time.
English

Tulane baseball got run ruled against Charlotte last night. 10-0.
But let’s be clear about what’s happening here.
This is a program with two College World Series, 23 Regionals, three Super Regionals, and back-to-back American titles under Jay Uhlman. The foundation is not the problem.
The problem is structural. Under the House settlement, baseball moved from 11.7 scholarships to up to 34 full rides. SEC and ACC programs are fully funding it.
Mid-majors and private schools who don’t commit are getting buried and maybe permanently.
And it’s finals week at Tulane. These guys are sitting for exams and flying to Charlotte to play three games in three days, then LSU Tuesday, then Rice on the road.
Zero academic flexibility built into the postseason calendar.
If Tulane wants to remain a baseball school, and history says we are one, the administration has a real choice:
Fully fund 34 scholarships. Build finals-week flexibility. Compete.
Or watch the program become a JV operation in its own conference.
We’ve earned the investment. Make it.

Why we can't put it back on our jerseys is beyond me.

Check out the Louisiana patch.
English

@geauxnick @OS_Beaver I’m probably in the minority, Nick, but I think Louisiana would be foolish to pass on a PAC invitation.
English

@WickDastardly @Dale32482436 @FB_Helmet_Guy But OG Saints fans remember a time when it was on the hip. Thats the point.
English

@Dale32482436 @FB_Helmet_Guy I mean the patches were used in Solidarity with the state after the hurricane
