#RDC: Une campagne nationale de sensibilisation sur la réforme constitutionnelle a été lancée vendredi 15 mai à Kinshasa par Serge Etinkum Anza, acteur politique membre de l'Union sacrée de la Nation. Intitulée « La Jeunesse Parle Constitution » et placée sous le slogan « Notre Constitution, Notre Voix, Notre Avenir », l'initiative vise à associer la jeunesse congolaise au débat sur une éventuelle révision de la loi fondamentale, dans un contexte national de vives tensions autour de cette question. La campagne se déclinera en quatre phases: sensibilisation, consultations citoyennes, amplification médiatique et restitution nationale, à travers des forums universitaires, une caravane provinciale, des débats communautaires et une plateforme numérique via WhatsApp. Les recommandations issues de ce processus seront compilées dans un Livre blanc destiné aux institutions compétentes.

Yesterday, together with my team and our @UNODCEastAfrica Regional Representative for Eastern Africa, we sat down with Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs @HassanAliJoho , alongside the three Principal Secretaries responsible for Shipping and Maritime Affairs, Blue Economy and Fisheries, and Mining. One question carried the whole conversation: Where, exactly, does every consignment come from? A mineral from the highlands. A fish from the Indian Ocean. A container at the port. Each one with paperwork. Each one with a buyer. And in the silent space between paperwork and the truth, the rule of law in Africa goes quiet. Every illegal mine somewhere in Africa is run by someone who could not find lawful work. Every poaching ring is built on a young person whose first opportunity was a criminal one. When we trace a consignment back to its origin, we are not just finding where a crime began. We are finding where opportunity disappeared. That is where the school, the cooperative, the solar dryer, the fish landing site, and the legal mining licence must arrive. Before the recruiter does. Yesterday’s meeting mattered for one reason above all. If we close the criminal door early, we open the lawful one wider. And the young person who would have carried the load for a criminal network instead carries a future for their family. That is what this work is really about.

Most of us spend years trying to change outcomes without examining the internal framework producing them. This article gets to the root by examining and then stripping away the conditioning that keeps you from becoming fully yourself and finding your bliss. Great read @thedankoe !
