A visit grounded in dialogue, driven by youth, and delivered through action 🇫🇷🤝🇰🇪 During her visit to Nairobi, French Minister @CaroitEleonore engaged Kenyan youth, institutions, partners and communities to advance a shared vision of forward-looking cooperation between France and Kenya. 🎓 Listening to youth, shaping diplomacy together 3 months ahead of the Africa Forward Summit At the @uonbi , alongside Principal Secretary @SingoeiAKorir, Minister @CaroitEleonore engaged Kenyan youth on diplomacy. 💬🌐 Both ministers underscored that youth are partners in designing international partnerships. Youth innovators, entrepreneurs and artists will be at the heart of the upcoming Africa Forward Summit 🚀 💪🏾 Our commitment in Kenya translated into concrete action to invest in Kenya's future: ➡️ Minister Caroit celebrated the launch of a major initiative to digitalise Kenya’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system through @AFD_en, in partnership with Team Europe (@EUinKenya and @GermanyinKenya), to modernise training institutions, strengthen employability and equip young Kenyans with skills aligned to a fast-changing digital economy. 📊📚💻 @HonJuliusMigos @EduMinKenya @kstvet ➡️ At the headquarters of the @KeForestService in Karura, the Minister visited a French-supported forest fire management project strengthening Kenya’s capacity to detect, prevent and respond to wildfires — protecting ecosystems that are vital to biodiversity, communities and climate stability — through cutting-edge technologies including drones and automatic fire detection solutions developed by French company Tyllium — 🤖🔥🚒🌳 ➡️ At the @AFKenya, the Minister attended the official launch of a regional initiative to combat sickle cell disease in Kenya🇰🇪 and Tanzania🇹🇿 implemented by the @FondationPFabre in partnership with health authorities and civil society organisations. The project strengthens early diagnosis, access to quality care and institutional coordination — helping protect the most vulnerable, particularly children. 🧬👶🏾 @psmuthoni @MOH_Kenya 🌍 Minister Caroit also honoured the vibrant French community in Kenya — she exchanged with educators, entrepreneurs, researchers, cultural actors and international civil servants — whose work contributes to the continuous building of economic ties, knowledge exchange and job creation. 👩🏽‍🏫💼 From dialogue to delivery, this visit reaffirmed a simple message: France and Kenya are building partnerships that respond to today’s challenges while preparing the opportunities of tomorrow. ✨🤝 #Tupatane Africa Forward! @francediplo_EN @ForeignOfficeKE @AFD_France
