Personally know someone who games this in college by making a fake LinkedIn as a VP at Goldman Sachs He would DM analysts and associates at other banks with the fake intention of chit chatting and getting to know them After a few messages, would end up referring his actual self by disguising it as an “ambitious college student you should really speak with” Guy ended up landing almost 200+ networking calls with bankers by doing this alone Funniest part is that he ended up landing at Goldman Sachs and is actually a VP there today

TIL the company I worked for over six years ago continues to allocate a LinkedIn Recruiter license to me. Yep, you know which license, the expensive one.

We got 570 Data Analyst applications in 3 days, for a Data Analyst role outside Paris. Engineering schools still think we’re in a shortage. That’s… some interesting data.
