@ntlerqueenie @Elwontmiss I’d skip a rung and send it to the a government official. In Australia we have a police minister. I once sent them a photo of a personalised license plate “AK47”. How it was approved I don’t know, but he ordered it be cancelled immediately.

As someone who lives in a country that’s had 391 mass shootings this year, let me just say, Australia is dangerous.

@TheQuartering The photos of the female officers with their hands up were taken AFTER both gunmen were taken down. They were pushing bystanders away. Get your facts right.

Thank God Australians turned in their guns. They wouldn’t want to protect themselves after inviting Islamists into their country.

🚨 POLICE OFFICERS DID NOT RETURN FIRE AT TERRORISTS. An eyewitness says the shooting went on for nearly 20 minutes. Two attackers. Repeated reloads. Sustained fire into a crowd of civilians. And yet — according to that testimony — four armed police officers were present and did not return fire. That fact alone demands serious, immediate answers. Why was no return fire initiated? Were officers ordered to stand down? Were they waiting for authorisation? Were they inadequately equipped? Was there a command failure? These are not accusations. They are necessary questions when civilians are being shot for 20 minutes in a public space. Every second matters in an active shooter scenario. Every delay costs lives. If officers were prevented from acting, the public deserves to know who made that call and why. If they were unable to act, the public deserves to know what failed. Transparency is not optional after an event like this. Silence only deepens fear and erodes trust. The victims deserve truth. The public deserves answers.

Something we, as Australians, have been so proud of in the last 30 years is that when a devastating event of this calibre happened before, we rallied to ensure it never would again. It’s beyond devastating to consider that endeavour has been unsuccessful.

It’s shocking to think something like this can happen in Australia. Regardless of motive, I had truly believed an incident of this magnitude should be impossible to achieve

@njpatriot534 @AndyKimNJ The other terrorist shot Ahmed. He went down the steps of the bridge to lay cover for the guy in the white pants before both returned to the bridge. He did get another gun and was shot dead by police moments later.

@FranklyQuite01 @AndyKimNJ …we’ll see. Initial reports said he ran and got another gun and continuing shooting. Perhaps he was the one that shot the guy two times who tackled him as the other terrorist was on the bridge

I’ve watched this video at least 10 times and I still get overwhelmed by witnessing an act of pure heroism. We don’t see this enough these days. He reminds us that we don’t need to give in to fear and be helpless. Each of us has power.

Incredible footage out of Australia, confirmed by NEWS AU, of a brave bystander neutralizing one of the terrorists in the Bondi Beach attack which took place during a Hanukkah gathering. Australian authorities say multiple people have been killed. At least two suspects are in custody.

If the person holding this camera has both the 2nd amendment and a gun, both of these filthy terrorists would be dead and lives would have been saved. I’ll never live in a society where I as a law abiding citizen can’t carry a gun for protection.

The shooters at Bondi Beach were able to carry out their massacre for almost half an hour before police decided to take any action against them. If it wasn’t for civilians taking matters into their own hands, there would be dozens more casualties.
