Especially given one glaring irony: Trump built an entire political brand around attacking his predecessor’s energy and mental fitness. Now, the roles appear to have reversed — and it’s happening on camera. This isn’t just awkward. It’s alarming. Because Americans deserve a president who is alert, engaged, and fully present — not one who looks like he’s struggling to keep his eyes open while the world keeps moving. BREAKING: HELL YES! Governor J.B. Pritzker calls for Trump officials to be "criminally prosecuted" if Democrats retake the White House in 2028 — setting a powerful tone for the entire party. This has MAGA world and Fox News melting down... "I don’t think you can speak of it in shorthand, but we’ve got to restore the rule of law, and that means holding people accountable who’ve broken the law," Pritzker told the New York Times. "I’m talking about the people in this administration who’ve broken the law and federal agents who’ve broken the law." "Criminally prosecuted, civilly prosecuted. Whatever it is that we can do," he added. He suggested that Democrats adopt their own version of the Heritage Foundation's infamous Project 2025, which he is nicknaming "Project 2029." But instead of pushing us towards a more fascist, kleptocratic society like the Republicans' blueprint, it would be designed to "restore the rule of law." Fox News is already running breathless coverage of Pritzker's remarks. Fox News Digital reached out to the governor's office asking for specific names that he believes should be prosecuted. His office pointed to a previous press release that called for an investigation into those involved in Operation Midway Blitz — the flooding of masked federal agents into Chicago that resulted in brutal violence and the mass violation of Constitutional rights. The names listed in that press release included Stephen Miller, Border Czar Tom Homan, and disgraced former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem among other. Those are a great start, but we must go further. We are dealing with the most criminal White House in American history. Trump is running his administration like a mob boss, with rampant corruption at home and relentless bloodshed abroad. The Democratic platform for the next presidential election needs to be total accountability. We need a full forensic investigation of every law that was broken, every dollar that was stolen, every right that was violated. That means prosecuting Pete Hegseth for war crimes. It means prosecuting Pam Bondi and Kash Patel for obstruction of justice. It means putting Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his natural life for the never-ending litany of crimes that he commits on a daily basis. If we allow these crooks to get away with what they've done, the rule of law will never recover. Failure to bring them to justice will just encourage the next Republican administration to behave in even more egregious fashion. To save our republic, these people must be locked up. BREAKING: Senator Andy Kim EXPOSES Pete Hegseth for being "directly" responsible for the bombing of a school in Iran that killed at least 175 people — and the explanation is enraging. This monster must resign immediately... Kim, who previously served on Obama's U.S. National Security Council, explained that the Tomahawk missile strike that inflicted mass death on men, women, and children in Minab, Iran was likely a result of the Trump's administration's budget cuts. Specifically, Hegseth slashed funding and staff at the Civilian Protection Center, a Pentagon program that's specifically designed to help reduce civilian casualties during U.S. military operations. Presumably, in his "anti-woke" world, slaughtering innocents makes you more masculine and tough. The cuts are especially galling when one considers how incredibly bloated the Defense Department budget has become under Trump. We have the money to fund this program. Hegseth just didn't like it. During an appearance on CNN, Kim explained that the missile strike hit the school at least in part because it was near an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base. Some officials have suggested that the atrocity was a result of outdated data. “The problem, though, is Secretary Hegseth decided to gut this office last year and has dramatically reduced the staff, not implementing the budget that is necessary,” said Kim. “This fault lies directly on President Trump and Secretary Hegseth. They are clearly the ones who gave the orders in terms of how they should go about the risk analysis. And without this type of office, it shows just how much this administration has deprioritized the protection of civilians,” he continued. “Now we find ourselves facing one of the worst losses of civilian life at the hands of Americans in decades,” he added. This blood is on Hegseth's hands. He needs to be investigated for negligence, removed from office, and prosecuted for war crimes. Once again, Republicans are making it clear that they would rather see American workers suffer than give an inch of ground in negotiations with colleagues across the aisle. Driver’s licenses don’t qualify under the bill. 50% of Americans don’t have passports.” Cornyn: “Why not just amend it?” Durbin: “When’s the last time the Senate actually amended a bill?” Silence. The SAVE Act requires passport-level documentation to register to vote. 50% of Americans don’t have a passport. The people least likely to have passports: the elderly, the poor, rural Americans, young first-time voters. The people most likely to have passports: wealthy Americans. This is not voter protection. This is voter selection. And when a senator suggested fixing it — his own colleague couldn’t name the last time the Senate amended anything. That’s the Senate in 2026.

BREAKING: Senate Democrats boldly spring into action to BLOCK Trump from launching his next illegal war — and this one would be terrifyingly close to home. "Only Congress has the power to declare war under the Constitution, but [Trump] operates with the belief that the U.S. military is a palace guard, ordering military action in the Caribbean, Venezuela, and Iran without Congress’ authorization or any explanation for his actions to the American people. We shouldn’t risk our sons and daughters’ lives at the whims of any one person.” Senators Kaine, Ruben Gallego, and Adam Schiff have formally filed a war powers resolution to prevent an invasion of Cuba as Trump ramps up talk of executing either a "friendly" or "not friendly takeover" of our island neighbor. Regime change in Cuba is an obsession for Secretary of State Marco Rubio, whose parents fled the island before the Castros even came to power. After Trump's illegal kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his murderous attack on Iran we have to take every single one of these threats seriously. This is a man drunk with power and addicted to war. Senator Lindsey Graham — who was instrumental in pushing Trump to attack Iran on behalf of Israel — said earlier this month that "the liberation of Cuba is upon us" and "it’s just a matter of time.” As we well know by now, Graham's idea of "liberation" is the mass murder of women and children. Cuba has long been a target of the American empire, with Republicans in particular ceaselessly agitating for an attack on the island (something which was attempted to disastrous effect during the Bay of Pigs proxy invasion). Cuba is currently suffering from a brutal energy crisis caused by the United States' lawless blockading of the island. Regardless of what one thinks of Cuba's current Communist government, military action would prove absolutely disastrous. The Cuban Revolution came about because the island was suffering under the boot of the brutal U.S.-backed dictator Fulgencio Batista. Under his rule, Cuba was infested with the American mafia and corrupt foreign business interests. The Republicans clamoring for regime change now aren't interested in "liberating" the island. They're interested in getting their grubby paws on its industries and in exploiting the local population. As always with these MAGA politicians, this is about money. Add to that the fact that Cuba is just 90 miles off the coast of Florida. This war would not be unfolding half way around the world, it would be right next door. If it causes a refugee crisis, it'll be our country that they're forced to flee to. And as we've seen with Trump's disastrous Iran war, the Age of the Drone has changed everything. One can easily imagine a scenario in which Trump attacks Cuba and then Cuban drones begin targeting Miami high-rises. Cuba President Manuel Díaz-Cane has confirmed that his government is holding talks with the Trump administration regarding "bilateral problems that require solutions based on their severity and impact" in the hopes of finding "areas of cooperation." But at this point, we know that this White House uses supposed "negotiations" to mask sneak attacks. They were supposedly "negotiating" with Iran when they began bombing. The Democratic war powers resolution could go to a vote by the end of the month. If Republicans shoot it down, they'll be further tying themselves to Trump's warmongering, damaging their midterm prospects. "[Trump] ran on America First, but now it's clear he's become a puppet of the war hawks in his party," said Senator Gallego. "The American people want nothing to do with nation building -- they want lower prices, good health care and affordable homes, not a new war to satisfy neoconservatives in South Florida."
