Last night, Kamala Harris was in nearby Savannah, Georgia for what was promoted as a "conversation." Since she has been trying to speak like the grassroots by saying black voters have a right to demand specifics for their votes, I was curious to hear what she had to say. The relatively small theater was barely at 50% capacity so I was even hoping to be able to propose a question. It was all a farce! The "conversation" did not include any engagement between the former vice president and the audience. It was a scripted exchange between her and a moderator! The questions were insultingly softball! The first questions were about what she had for breakfast and her favorite color. I kid you the hell not! She then went on to say that the SAVE Act would make it hard for people to vote since women would have a hard time proving their identity with their birth certificates if they no longer use their maiden name. I was long ready to go. She spoke nothing about specifics for Freedmen. She said nothing about black business expansion, black land ownership, how we are specifically hurt by illegal immigration, or reactivating the Freedmen's Bureau. Of course, she said nothing about reparations, but @BlackAlphaNetw1 did!

Brooklyn: Mill Street & Clinton Street, a man was arrested 2 weeks ago in Red Hook after a lawful traffic stop for a windshield tint, which then escalated into a struggle with officers as the driver decided to resist arrest. Police said officers from the NYPD's 76th Precinct stopped a 2015 Nissan Altima for an equipment violation involving windshield tint. During the stop, the encounter developed into an investigation that resulted in the driver being placed under arrest on forgery-related charges. At some point during the arrest process, the suspect physically resisted, leading to a struggle with officers. Police then deployed a taser to gain compliance before additional responding units arrived to assist in safely taking the man into custody. The suspect, a 29-year-old who lives in Red Hook, Brooklyn, was arrested and charged: • Forgery 1st Degree • Resisting Arrest • Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd Degree • Equipment Violation: Windshield Tint Violation
