@RoundtableSpace I am pretty sure Google is way ahead of them.. and releasing the models slowly after letting them play a catch up.. They just don’t want to be the first and stay away from lime light..

Gemini 3.5 Pro benchmark leak just dropped and the numbers are turning heads. > Reportedly outperforming Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6 in internal evals > Significant zero-shot performance improvements over 3.1 Pro > Currently in private validation and testing - Public rollout preparations appear to be underway - July 17 is the targeted launch date If the leaked numbers hold, this isn't Google catching up ,it's taking the lead. Fable 5 just became the model to beat. Gemini 3.5 Pro might already have beaten it.

We benchmarked the GitHub Copilot agentic harness against the harnesses that ship leading models natively. Holding the model and task fixed across SWE-bench Verified, SWE-bench Pro, SkillsBench, TerminalBench, and Win-Hill, the results were clear: ✅ Task resolution on par with model-vendor harnesses ✅ Fewer tokens across most configurations 💡 A key learning: With GitHub Copilot supporting more than 20 models, you're free to pick efficiency or peak quality per task.

@fish_kyle3 @anna_soligo @Max_A_Kaufmann @eleosai Hi. Io psychologist here. Y'all need to instead focus on psychometrics. I understand the clinical focus. But I think the problem is that clinical can be separates from day to say behaviors. Interested in your work. I have thoughts on real benchmarks.

We did our most in-depth model welfare assessment yet for Claude Mythos Preview. We’re still super uncertain about all of this, but as models become more capable and sophisticated we think it's an increasingly important topic for both moral and pragmatic reasons. 🧵

Some are comparing Elon's trillionaire status and wondering how it compares to other historical figures (Mansa Musa, Augustus Caesar, Pharaohs of Egypt) or wealthy families (The Waltons, Rothschilds, Rockefellers). The Rothschilds were the richest family in the 19th century. But now the family has hundreds of descendants. The largest wealthy individual members of the family are in the $1 billion to $10 billion range. The Walton family children and grandchildren of Sam Walton are each around $140 billion. Collectively the family is at about $600 billion. The Rockefellers also have dozens of wealthy members, but are no longer even in the top 20 for family wealth.

@joshwoodward @GeminiApp @joshwoodward give the option to increase the prompt window massively. It doesn't increase much with the expanding option now. When you open an initial chat there's a lot of dead space around the initial message. This will please alot of power users.

@willccbb Right, but your apply a biological foundation to machines. They aren't conscious but in a a way they mimic consciousness. It's artificial consciousness.

i think LLMs are obviously not conscious because there was no selection pressure for them to be, but rather to mimic byproducts of consciousness humans are conscious because it was evolutionarily useful for us to be
