@ThomasHall17 @coastlivingnow @CBCRaffy @CBCNews When I watch press conferences with the PM or ministers it becomes so obvious that many journalists don't understand the basics of how government works! I love it when someone corrects them and they cry about how prickly the person is!😁 They will never admit they were wrong!

Dear @CBCRaffy, whenever a new Prime Minister is appointed, the government changes. The PM with his/her ministers form the government in Parliamentary system. The PM is the head of the government. Learn basics our Parliamentary system, please. cc: @CBCNews

You're funny. You didn't actually fact-check me, but okay 😅. Let's recap the timeline. The 23.9% increase happened strictly between the 2023/24 fiscal year ($7.1 million) and 2024/25 ($8.8 million). There was no election and absolutely no change in seat count during that specific window. The budget simply grew. Now, let's look at the projected $9.2 million for 2025/26. Pierre lost his seat in the general election and was out of Parliament for roughly three months. To get him back in the House, another MP had to give up their seat. That triggered a by-election that cost taxpayers an additional $2.34 million. When you combine that by-election cost with his office expenses for those 11 months, his return to Parliament cost $10.77 million. The question for Canadians is if his work is worth the expense. Have a nice day!

Am I the only one who wanted to hear everything Champagne had to say but don't want to hear PP? May I assume that, going forward, we will no longer have to listen to PP?🤔

Boarded my flight today. Security asked me for a ticket. I told them I didn't need one. I own Air Canada. They looked at me like I was out of my mind. I told them I held shares, and therefore, clearly I was the owner, it's mine. They just didn't seem to quite get it. I told them to ask Pierre Poilievre to explain.

Mark Carney does not own Brookfield…. Pierre Poilievre is flatly lying. This is full out defamation.

If Poilievre is so concerned with saving Canadian taxpayers their hard-earned cash, he should probably start with himself and his expenses. Hypocrite. He lives in a perpetual campaign war mode. The only paycheque he’s ever made “powerful” is his own.

@OrbitStudios Now I never watch that channel so may I assume there was massive push back and immediate correction by the host?🤔 Otherwise journalistic rules would be broken would they not?

@MikeTheNavyGuy1 @notncalgary But the Conservatives and their media heard him say it!😁 Even though the States trade heavily with China our media thinks we have to save to Trump's demands as we will upset him! So I think we can agree that they admire the Conservative way and believe we should cave!

Polls shouldn’t need to “catch up” to reality. If they do, the method—not the electorate—is the problem.
