For everyone pointing out that Alec Pierce has never topped 47 receptions in a season — context matters.
He’s been part of a crowded offense with Jonathan Taylor, Tyler Warren, Michael Pittman Jr., and Josh Downs.
I genuinely believe he’d be a better fit for the Patriots than A.J. Brown. For those arguing he’s not a true WR1 — he’s only 25 years old with plenty of prime years ahead. In a Patriots offense where he’d step in as the clear No. 1 option, increased volume could unlock some huge production.

@KurtBenkert Spot on, hate to admit it. I noticed all game. Really hard for me to think tht McD did not go over this with Maye. Maye had to be Bradyesque in this game with getting the ball out quick. Easier said than done with processing for a young QB.
