@barkmeta Multicellular life is only 600 million years old at most. So yes, for the first 4 billion there was not much to look at. Terrestrial animals don’t appear until 430 mill years. Mammals don’t get large and diverse until 60 mill years ago. And hominids appear at just 7 m.

@joe_politic @schoolinIifeii @lexercise_ This isn’t about you and me. It’s about systemic trends in society at large. You can be as educated and nuanced as you want, but whole world industries revolve around specific ideas of attractiveness. And that influences how people treat eachother.
