Okay so you basically need to get to the point where the batteries show you what color chronons need dunked, then you do a fake wipe by interacting on the crystal and the color persists through the next phase, this way you can set the color right when the encounter starts, spawn the wyverns, and dunk in the hoop without having to wait for the batteries to show, which lets you get like 20 more seconds of free damage on the first 2 phases. The reason why you get more damage is bc the time you have to damage is based on how full the wipe timer bar on the left of your screen is. The fact this raid was even cleared while completely egoing this mechanic is pretty funny to me, but everyone go do your runs the dps check is mickey if you do this correctly!

Turns out there was a way to make the 2 mini damage phases at the start of koregos like 3x longer the whole time, will reply to this post when we figure out how but the working theory is its always the same color in rotation every time so you can predunk on the hoop

@Aztecross What causes me to stop playing: Lack of mystery and motivational discovery and adventure
What brought me back (temporarily) friends who I can be stupid yet competitively efficient in PvE with.
Im currently on another break because Clair Obscur is unbelievably amazing

I don't have solutions to all problems, I'm just giving a few points of feedback.
I think a lot of the game's "hard content" issues are found across many areas of the game. Ex: With the current ammo economy, particularly in contest mode, it forces many gear swaps, especially for support builds. One player may have to swap gear to print ammo, then swap to another piece to drop support, then swap to their normal loadout to actually shoot the boss. This isn't a fun loop, but it's absolutely necessary if you wanna compete during contest clears.
I think the first step would be to fix fundamental sandbox and economy issues. If swapping from an ammo printing build (necessary) to a regular build depletes your abilities, it's just going to make things even more frustrating. If you're going to force one loadout onto players, you need to give them the in-game resources and economy to enjoy that playstyle. If everyone is just running around, shooting primary ammo at bosses because they have no ammo, this just brings us back to double-primary days of fun level. The other option is to have no super for damage, which is also not fun. This ammo issue is just one example, by the way. It doesn't define all of Destiny's core issues.
There's no doubt that loadout swaps are overpowered. There's no doubt that they've trivialized much of the content. I think NotSwap is an idea in the right direction, but I don't think it's implemented in the right way. I don't have a solution here, but there is an example that comes to mind.
Ex: Currently playing Monster Hunter. You can carry 2 weapons. You can swap weapons DURING a hunt, but you must call in your mount, mount it, then swap on the mount. This means that if your plan is to paralyze an enemy, swap weapons, and deal that big hit with the second weapon, you can't (or you can, but it's very tight and not optimal in many cases). You also cannot swap your gear or gear mods unless you rest at a camp during the fight. This is simply an example of preventing broken build swaps in a way that flows with the combat but doesn't punish a player by simply removing EVERYTHING that's valuable for their gameplay loop.
I also think that something like NotSwap is 100% better than something like "forced loadouts," such as we saw in hardmode raid lairs (those were terrible). Forced loadouts are terrible. Locked loadouts are better. NotSwap sits somewhere in here, just not sure where it ranks until I actually play it myself.
Ultimately, limiting what a player can use will result in negative feedback, but all players must open their eyes to the aggressive power creep that Destiny has, and be open to discussing what's best for the GAME, and not what's best for YOU (I've been a culprit of this many times lol, but I've learned). A proper sandbox and balanced economy will fix many of these burderns. Balancing a game like Destiny has always been, and will continue to be, a huge barricade for Bungie to tackle and hurdle. I'm sure something will get figured out.
Take care, all.
