Today’s @HSBCInnovation report highlights the strength of the innovation economy in the UK. In the first half of 2026, the UK attracted more venture capital than France, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland combined. But #accesstofinance needs to be widened, as female-only founding teams receive 2% of venture capital while ethnically diverse founders are half as likely to secure funding as their white counterparts.
