That is why there is suffering and death in the world. Not because of SINNERS but because of adams Sin and fallen nature.

@napenforcer @MatthewDePra @SocialNomadRach Yes, yes it is. The brothers and sisters were not believers. They were also in NAZARETH a 4 day journey from Jerusalem. It would take 4 days to learn about his death and 4 more to get to Jerusalem. So yes Jesus giving Mary to John makes perfect sense.

God specifically commanded Nephi not to include secular histories of wars and kings. Nephi was instead commanded to record a spiritual record upon the small plates. The Book of Mormon is meant to be a test of faith and righteousness, not of worldly pursuits and physical evidence. It has enough of those things as it is.

Mary was born without the stain of Original Sin. But let’s not forget that all the angels (even the rebel angels) were created without sin. And let’s not forget that Adam and Eve were created without sin.
All this to say, sin is unnatural. It’s an infection, the most dangerous of infections - but sin has never been what it means to be human. When Christ’s victory is brought to completion in us, and our wills are purified and transformed to the point where sin becomes inconceivable for us, then we will be perfectly human and perfectly natural - we will be precisely as God intended us to be.

When Salahuddin al-Ayyubi defeated armies but spared civilians, showing discipline and mercy in war?
Even today, Muslims quietly feed the poor, educate the uneducated, and take care of their communities without posting it online.
