It didn’t have to be this way #MNTwins. You could’ve built off the 2023 postseason excitement, but you didn’t. Instead you cut payroll, alienated a fanbase & probably some in the clubhouse while becoming a passive team lacking in fundamentals and baseball IQ. A rebuild…again?

Delta 757 with more than 200 people evacuated on the tarmac at the Atlanta airport after an engine issue prompted an aborted takeoff, leaving four people injured, airline and airport officials said.
Airline and airport officials did not immediately say whether the engine problem was due to a fire.
“Delta’s flight crew followed established procedures to suspend the takeoff of flight 2668 from Atlanta (ATL) to Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) after an indication of an engine issue,” Delta said in a statement.

Some airports are better than others. SFO, for example, has a decent range of quality food & what I’d consider healthy options. The Banh-Mi & Mediterranean place in the F gates are my favorites.
Kansas City? Not quite as good.

The biggest issue with airports is the food. There’s only a few huge operators running the food due to the inside contracts, union control, and cost of build (regulations). If we could get some local concepts with real food into big airports we’d make Americans healthier.

@GDClearedToLand That may be, but at least we know our gates well in advance!

@GDClearedToLand The times change when flights get delayed and then you don’t know where to look. Alphabetical is the superior means of listing them. Your destination isn’t changing.

Boarding a @Delta flight, young woman beside me in the aisle exclaims "Oh my God, they have TVs!'
To passengers, this old A319 is modern, new - and equipped with the latest technology from the early aughts.
Seat back screens are vastly preferred over tablet holders and phones.

@MikeInTheFront I update my paper logbook after every trip. Next morning, cup of coffee and it gets updated.

@GDClearedToLand I always close the shade. If it’s morning people do not want the sun shining in.

@robertdarrens I am an airline captain and I 100% agree. I can't stand when I have no idea where I am.

The latest @Dulles_Airport master plan proposal: a full separation of airside and landside functions (aka, Atlanta) to support hub growth.
I have questions about how the proposed Main Terminal Connector gets through historic preservation approvals. flydulles.com/about-airport/…

@GDClearedToLand I don’t fly Commercial often*. *2x/yr to training. I don’t understand the shade down thing especially close to the ground on either end… Such a missed opportunity to take in the beauty.
English

@McFrequentFlyer It doesn't seem to matter what the sun does. People close it so fast and thats it.
English

@GDClearedToLand Based on the sun angle it’s probably early so I can understand why most are closed.
