@JayJosephVet Not everyone wants 20 years. Some want only one tour, maybe 2. Who wants to retire at 20, broken/worn out bodies, then find out they have to start at the bottom in a new career, competing with 20 year olds for emtry level jobs? Not all military jobs translate to civilian work.

Why do only 17% of active duty military members reach the 20 years of service required to make it to retirement and what factors contribute to this low percentage?

@wasatchdotco @DataRepublican I make the raspberry syrup from fresh raspberries: 12 oz fresh raspberries (2 cups) 1-1/2 cups water 3/4 cups sugar (I use stevia so I use about 1/2 cup) Bring to simmer over medium high heat. Simmer about 7 minutes. Strain and let cool. It's sooo good!

The Texas AG is not a political position. It is fundamentally a legal position. The Texas AG is the CHIEF lawyer for the state of Texas and folks are seriously considering putting a guy there that is not even a lawyer. Make it make sense.
