Thug caught on CCTV brutally beating his XL Bully dog is banned from keeping animals for life Mason Sestanovich, 24, from Sheffield, was filmed on Hyde Park Terrace punching, kicking and slapping his female XL Bully eight times in just 52 seconds. CCTV shows him grabbing the terrified dog by her collar, lifting her clean off the ground, then smacking her repeatedly while she cowered and tried to hide. A vet confirmed the dog was so scared she defecated during the attack; the RSPCA described the violence as “extreme”. Sestanovich admitted inflicting blunt force trauma and intimidatory behaviour under the Animal Welfare Act. At Sheffield Magistrates’ Court he was handed a 16-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months, ordered to do 100 hours unpaid work, and banned from keeping any animal for life.
