@TweetsOfSumit I have that working on my local machine using whisper 🧐🤓 I use it to transcribe my podcast and create text content from that. Should I create it as a service?

A tool we’re still missing: Automatic transcript of 🇩🇪 German podcasts and summarize all via AI. All solutions we tried are messy and won’t be able to properly transcribe a normal person speaking (including lots of English words). I smell business opportunity.

@erwanlier I think you should differentiate between work and being busy. Work: adding value to the customer. Anything else is being busy. There is nothing wrong with being busy, it should just not be at the expense of working.

Do you consider reading non-fiction books as work for your business? Genuinely curious.

@GMSchweitzer Yes! 95% of our subscriptions come from content (Google, Social Media, Downloads on our Website, Content Newsletters etc.) We do not spent any money on Ads right now. Can’t say if this will be the case forever, but right now it’s the best way for us

Just started reading. Is this still useful today? What has changed since it was written?

Flexibility of your time is a luxury. I am working a 9-5 and building a podcast. Now I am pausing my 9-5 for 30 mins and having a call with a future podcast guest. Very grateful to have the opportunity!

@levelsio The same thing here in Germany with some influencers selling pizza („happy slice“). Unfortunately the reviews of the quality are really bad…

This is really really interesting: 🍔 MrBeast Burger is a virtual brand tied to an influencer but executed by a third party for a % and/or licensing fee Kylie Jenner does same with her cosmetics brand as Coty produces it Rihanna sells Fenty Cosmetics and it's all done by LVMH It's like dropshipping for celebrities I was expecting this to work but the economic challenge is you outsource your brand and it can be hard to control the quality
KEEM 🍿@KEEMSTAR

MrBeast is suing MrBeast burger partner for not getting paid & the low quality of the food. #DramaAlert

@p_millerd Having to clean and maintain more space than you need is something I never understood. Why does everyone wants a big house? I prefer having the space I need and less things on my mind.

@TheJackForge Please fix it! They are not built the same today. The new one will never last that long. Plus, I believe products that are built and in use should be kept in use for as long as possible!

@TrungTPhan Very interesting case! This is also done when shipping large machinery. It is broken up into smaller boxes that can be labeled and shipped with minimum cost.

Tariff engineering is fascinating. Take Converse Shoes: a fuzzy fabric covers large sections of the sole, but it’s not for fashion reasons. The placement of the fuzzy material classifies the shoe as a slipper, which has a much lower import duty (<5%) than for wholly rubber sole shoes (30-40%). Today, tariff engineering — the practice of tweaking a product to get classified in a lower duty bracket — is commonplace in apparel and toy manufacturing. What was the first tariff engineered product in the US? Sugar imports during the end of the 19th century. White sugar had a higher import duty than dark sugar. So, some producers coloured white sugar with molasses to get a lower rate. Courts ultimately ruled that this evasion was not allowed (should have added fuzzy fabric instead of molasses).
