Assume that I can, and maybe I will. This video has struck a chord with millions of people around the world and started some very important conversations in our community. Conversations about how we see and care for people with Down syndrome. Conversations about how people deserve to be valued no matter their accomplishments. Conversations about people with Down syndrome deserving the chance to explore the same adult life experiences as everyone else. It's important to listen to all sides of the conversation and keep asking the difficult questions, even if they force us outside of our comfort zones. It's an important step in creating change for our community. Thank you all for your support so far - let's continue to raise our voices together this #WorldDownSyndromeDay and encourage even more people to join our call to #EndTheStereotypes!
