I hope that when Thomas Massie’s term ends on January 3, 2027, he refuses his congressional pension so he doesn’t add to the national debt. That would be the libertarian thing to do.

Massie spent virtually 1:1 money as those against him. 99% from out of state. Coming from a variety of Liberal Democrats, radical Islamic supremacists, and various dark money sources. Maybe the majority of his district was just sick of his holier-than-thou act.

Thomas Massie appears on track to lose the early vote, potentially by 10 points or more. The race is not over, but he will likely need a strong Election Day performance to win re-election.

This term, Massie has voted with the GOP 77.7% of the time. That rate is much lower than the median GOP congressman, who voted with the party 95% of the time. Massie's rate of voting with the Republicans is also lower than his own record in the last term (91%), which itself was lower than the term before that (95%). You can like Massie. One thing to watch for, that I believe is under-covered in this KY-04 primary between Rep. Thomas Massie and Ed Gallrein, is who gets the most votes. That’ll be a huge factor in who wins that race.
