Bungie *did* have some moments in this vein - D2 worldwide reveal event, bringing the gambit stations/prizes to GCX that one year, etc.
But it is wild that there was never an official Bungie sponsored/endorsed Destiny-Con of some kind over the years. Would've been awesome.

One thing that has me scratching my head walking away from tennocon is why the hell did bungie never do anything like this? Can you imagine a stadium arena filled with destiny fans roaring and cheering at the annual expansion reveal? Would’ve been absolutely unreal

People are disagreeing in the replies, but he's actually right.
The only way Marathon sees any success at all is if it dramatically and convincingly shifts its identity into what people want it to be, rather than trying to further refine what it is.

Jubilee, the new healer/strategist in Marvel Rivals, is one of the best designed characters they've launched.
The ceiling for her gameplay is VERY high, but it requires awareness, good aim, and good cooldown management.
The best characters in these games are often the ones that allow skill expression. And there will be a dramatic difference between an average Jubilee player and an excellent one.

This is so bittersweet.
Been wanting this for years. Obsidian making a new Fallout game? Josh Sawyer at the lead? Sounds like a dream.
But the cost is vast. So many lights extinguished because of Microsoft.
I'm letting myself get hyped for this. I'm going to be cheering Obsidian on as loudly as I can. But man, this one hits a bit different. Looking forward to when gaming gets to be more about games again.
Go get em', Obsidian. Cannot WAIT for more Fallout! 🥳
