Seeing as it’s a slow news day with nothing else major going on, I’m today announcing that I’m seeking re-election for a third term on the @LondonLibDems Executive. It’s been a pleasure to wear so many hats for this region over recent years - and I would love your support to stick around and help the new officer team drive us forward - particularly using my experience to aide my successor as Policy Chair. I’m asking for your first preference vote in the upcoming e-ballot to make that happen. See below for my manifesto!

Really great time tonight fighting the #HangerHill by-election for @EalingLD ! Voters really desperate for change and want yet another #LibDems councillor to represent them in this ward. Now waiting for the result!

So happy to have been able to deliver my first speech at Lib Dem conference this morning! In peak Lib Dem style, I spoke on proportional representation and why we need to make voting more meaningful for young people and future generations. We urgently need electoral reform now!

@TfL Thanks, but this does not answer my question. I asked specifically if the last minute changeover has had an impact on GPS live arrivals for W9 services. If this info isn’t known, you can just say!

@GRussoLD W9 is operating between Chase Farm Hospital and Southgate Stn at a reduced frequency of every 30 mins, instead of every 15 mins during Mon to Sat daytimes, due to a bus operator ceasing operations in London. Buses remain operating every 30 mins in the evenings and on Sun. ^CO

Hey @TfL has the switch over of providers on the W9 bus route impacted the GPS tracking of buses on the route? Service from Grange Park Station is still very rough and unpredictable- with the live bus times app switching constantly between “live” arrivals and reverting to scheduled departures. Meanwhile buses still not showing up when they say they will (by schedule or GPS!). Please reply - am not the only one asking.

I’m so proud of London and other cities that peacefully came out in solidarity. Our country champions our diversity. We saw allies and this gives us hope and strength. Many of us stayed at home, stayed safe but we saw the images - we know there’s more of us.

Been dreading the headlines tonight for several days now. But instead what we’ve seen are scenes of thousands of people fighting back against racism, the far-right, and vitriol. And doing so with the force that is stronger than violence - peace. Proud of us.

I've said it before - but let me say it again. TfL must launch an urgent review into the quality of bus services in Enfield. The Sullivan Buses debacle over the weekend (when so many of our local buses lost their operator abruptly) just underscores that something has to change.
