Drone Attack Targets UAE Nuclear Power Plant
The UAE Ministry of Defense says air defenses intercepted two drones that entered the country from the western border, while a third struck an electrical generator outside the secured perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.

I have a feeling the U.S. may take over Ovda Air Base in southern Israel and turn it into a permanent military base.
Recent upgrades at the base suggest the construction of a new compound that appears to include barracks and housing for USAF personnel.
The base is now hosting a large number of U.S. warplanes, including F-22 Raptors, F-15E Strike Eagles, and possibly some F-16s, along with U.S. Navy F/A-18 fighter jets.

With Egypt becoming indispensable to the securing of Gulf states, Sisi’s government must seize the opportunity to force the Emiratis to realign with broader arab interests in the Middle East and Africa. Otherwise this foray is entirely unnecessary.

Besides traditional financial aid, the UAE has a lot to offer to enhance the Egyptian rafale fleet, with the UAE ordering 80 F4.2 and integrating local munitions such as PGMs/Cruise Missiles/Air launched Ballistic Missiles.

Regional dynamics aside, this arrangement involves many drawbacks, including potential Iranian retaliation on Egyptian assets or territory (though less likely).
The Emirati compensation AND/Or reinvigoration of Egypt’s regional standing was probably deemed worth the risks…

Very rare pic of an Egyptian Air Force (EAF) F16C/D Block 40 from Bright Star 2025 with the advanced AN/ALQ-131 Block II electronic countermeasures (ECM) pod that’s designed to protect the aircraft from radar detection systems. The AN/ALQ-131 Block II pods can jam radars, deny targeting information, as well as alter incoming enemy missile paths 🇪🇬
Honestly, it’s exceedingly rare to see much from the Egyptian side, I believe there’s only one pic from ~10 years ago showing Northrop Grumman’s AN/ALQ-131 Block II pods in Egyptian service, even though we’ve had these for a long time..

Flight timeline:
• 7 April: Departed Jeddah 🇸🇦
• Approaching Chinese 🇨🇳 airspace, the aircraft switched off its transponder, likely continuing toward Urumqi
• 11 April: Returned from Urumqi to Jeddah 🇸🇦
• 12 April: Arrived at Batajnica 🇷🇸
The route mirrors a pattern previously observed in 2025.
For over a year, Dunav Intel has monitored multiple military and private cargo flights arriving in Serbia via similar corridors (typically involving Egypt 🇪🇬, the UAE 🇦🇪, and occasionally Pakistan 🇵🇰) with Urumqi 🇨🇳 frequently appearing as a waypoint.

وقوف الإعلام المصري بكل هذه القوة خلف ايران، و انحياز غالبية المحللين السياسيين للجانب الإيراني في هذه الحرب رغم تعرض دول الخليج للقصف الإيراني، امر يبعث على الحيرة والتساؤل: هل هذا الانحياز عفوي، واجتهادات شخصية، ام ان وراء الأكمة ما ورائها؟ المثير للعجب ان غالبية المحللين السياسيين المصريين اظهروا بشكل فج حالة شماتة وتشفي من الدول الخليجية !! لا يوجد للحالة الإعلامية المصرية مثيل في كل البلدان العربية، حتى في العراق ولبنان لا نجد هذه الحماسة في دعم ايران.
