@instablog9ja Perhaps Alex Ekubo felt there was enough to talk about him already. He had to protect his family.

@MikeNellis Reopening the Strait of Hormuz is necessary for lowering oil prices. Hopefully, the deal will also require Iran to give up its enriched uranium.
English

At last, the USA and Iran have reached a peace agreement that, among other provisions, reopens the Strait of Hormuz for the free flow of maritime trade.

BREAKING: Trump says the U.S. and Iran have reached a peace deal. FOX News' @TreyYingst has the latest.

@AR_Salimii Arab states saw that Iran wanted to dominate the Middle East through the use of proxies groups, that is why the Arabs do not support Iran.
English

@WhaleInsider There must be a clear direction in the US-Iran deal. Delays or a snail-paced approach are unacceptable. Both sides should swiftly reach a compromise to ensure peace in the middle East and free movement in the strait of Hormuz.

@FoxNews Donald Trump at 80 today, still strong and healthy. Meanwhile, here at 70 many are already weak. Happy Birthday, Mr. Donald Trump!

News of the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, is a welcome development. Though to be opened after the singing of the US-IRAN deal, Iran’s blockade of the strait had ripple effects across the global oil market, and for Africans, it deepened poverty to unprecedented levels. The reopening is expected to stabilize oil prices, making energy costs and related expenses more manageable.

@NigeriaStories Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria can do more to curb insecurity in Nigeria than just expressing grief, which takes us nowhere.

You are not the president yet but you are already saying you will release criminals.
We need to remind ourselves that Nnamdi Kanu was duly convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction

Biafra: I’ll free Nnamdi Kanu as president, no reason imprisoning him over insults – Peter Obi

@masurge7 Theo Abu, a president with the right political will can curb insecurity. The Nigerian Armed Forces have the capacity to end it swiftly, but someone must give the order.
English

Theo Abu came up on a space I attended two days ago and said:
"..no presidential candidate can say they will curb insecurity ... anyone including Obi who says so is lying or just trying to get votes..."
That's the Media person representing NDC and by extension Peter Obi.
@TheoAbuAgada you are a misfit for that role

More trouble for Kenneth Okonkwo. This is just the beginning, with more to follow after his indiscriminate attacks on opposition candidates. As the campaign for the 2027 elective positions draws closer, lawyers are advised to engage more experienced assistants to handle the litigation tasks ahead.

@dammiedammie35 Mr. Adeleke has every right to support Mr. Tinubu. However, in all honesty, such support should be based on individual merit such as reliability, competence, and the ability to deliver on commitments, rather than on ethnicity or assumptions about regional entitlement.
English

“I am supporting Tinubu because he has roots in Osun State, and because it is the turn of the South. Nigerians should please give him time to implement his reforms.
He has also made efforts in releasing funds to state governors to support development across the federation.”
- Governor Adeleke

@OgbeniAdugbo @DanielRegha Everyone have their tradition, for a purpose.

@OgbeniAdugbo @DanielRegha You can buy land in Igbo land from families, lineages (umunna), or communities, but not individuals. Outsiders can buy land through legal processes and with the consent of the family or community that holds ancestral rights.

@instablog9ja Local informants collaborating with terrorists is a well known issue. The real question is: what are your plans to counter this narrative?
