At what point can we have an honest discussion on how the ANC government has failed South Africa and ALL its people? Everyone is always eager to talk about the atrocities of Apartheid, and rightfully so as it was a terrible system for the majority of South Africans, but when are we going to talk about the absolute failure of the ANC government? How is it possible that we want to talk about economic justice, economic freedom, and righting the wrongs of the past, and yet we have a government that can't even build on or maintain the infrastructure that they inherited? It's such a cheap political ploy/tactic to point fingers at white people, especially young white people, and generalize that all of them are the problem and that they "caused the problems". Yet the very same people making these allegations act as if the ANC hasn't been in charge for 30 years with the benefit of hindsight and modern technology. The question that no one wants to ask is Where does the legacy of Apartheid end and the failure of the ANC government begin? This question is fundamental in understanding how South Africa is in the state it's in, in 2023. We can't have an honest discussion about South Africa if we are only going to talk about things that happened before 1994. The ANC is laughing at us. Yes, the woke leftist self-flagellating and defending their actions, the ANC/EFF voter, the defenders of cadre deployment and racial policies in 2023, they laughing at you. They laughing at everyone who thinks an evil system that ended 34 years ago is solely to blame for the state of South Africa in 2023.

The past is the past….. no use making nest there bro…… tenderpreneurs and corruption is STEALING THE FUTURE. With the right political leadership, do you know how much we could have achieved in 30 years? We could have accelerated the development of business and technical skills of the nation had we considered and remained focused on: 1. Education and Training: Investing in a robust education system that emphasizes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects can help develop a skilled workforce. Providing vocational training and apprenticeship programs can also bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. 2. Research and Development: Encouraging research and development activities can foster innovation and technological advancements. Establishing research institutes, funding grants, and promoting collaboration between academia and industry can drive the growth of technical skills. 3. Entrepreneurship and Start-up Support: Creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurship can stimulate business growth. This can include offering tax incentives, reducing bureaucratic hurdles, and providing access to capital and mentorship programs for aspiring entrepreneurs. 4. Infrastructure Development: Developing robust infrastructure, including reliable power supply, internet connectivity, and transportation networks, is crucial for attracting businesses and supporting their growth. 5. International Collaboration: Engaging in international collaborations, partnerships, and knowledge-sharing initiatives can expose the nation to global best practices and foster cross-cultural learning. Other factors to consider include political stability, favorable regulatory frameworks, access to capital and investment, intellectual property protection, and the availability of a skilled labor pool. Additionally, fostering a culture of innovation, promoting diversity and inclusion, and encouraging lifelong learning can further enhance the development of business and technical skills in a nation. We could have kicked the past in its ass…….

𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗛 White South Africans make up less than 10 per cent of the population but they hold more than two-thirds of the country's wealth. And whenever they are questioned about this glaring anomaly, their response is often outright racist - to wit, that White people hold the country's wealth because they are more hardworking than Black people! However, this is far removed from the truth. Most of their wealth is a result of more than three centuries of colonial exploitation and racist laws that gave them an economic advantage over their Black counterparts. Watch South African media personality Dan Corder explain the different racist policies and laws that the apartheid regime put in place to give White people a head start - one that they’re still profiting from today.

@wayneduv Is it possible to have change even if the ANC wins. I think so and that's why I will be voting for the ANC. Never voted for ANC under Zuma (only time I didn't vote for them). I see change happening now already but acknowledge the flight back and set backs. Makes sense?

Let me add some clarity to my post. Pali’s article sparks conversations and thoughts about other ways to tackle the plight we are in. It was a philosophical point made. I am a defender of democracy and not for one minute suggesting the 2024 elections be postponed. We need change, and NPE-2024 will hopefully be the year we get SA onto a new trajectory.
Wayne Duvenage@wayneduv

Democracy is so valuable and should not be forsaken, yet reading this suggestion by @Palilj01, I find myself in favourable consideration of such a reset, to gather the leadership of SA and plot the way forward. The question is how does one begin to get consensus and organise this challenge. Whatever it takes, I’m in. This current debacle is untenable.

This is how low our standards are as a country. What looks like PRASA employees are cheering & celebrating the return of a service that was collapsed by them. Worse yet are the #ANC politicians gloating about this as though it were a new service🤦🏾‍♂️
