@GW_Trips Any news on the July trips?

United Learning have informed us that our insurance company will be fully refunding those overseas trips which were due to take place between now and 10 April. That includes: Naples, Ski and Paris (rugby). Good news, sad times. The refunds will take a while to organise. Stay safe

TRIP REFUND UPDATE: Naples refund should be taking place next week. Ski & Paris Rugby trips are still awaiting confirmation from insurers. We anticipate the next fortnight for them. Thanks for your patience. Hope you’re all well.

@michelle_icb All of the Easter trips will be fully refunded, but probably not until May. The residential ones in July are still undecided. If they are cancelled then there will be a refund or offer to defer for 2021.

@B16V @educationgovuk Unfortunately, insurance companies don’t accept “look at the rest of the world”. They want precise dates. We want to issue refunds, but can’t because no one knows which trips have to be cancelled.

@GW_Trips @educationgovuk Look at what’s going on around the world fella. China has only just started to report containing the spread/reducing it. And they have been on lock down for a while now. We aren’t even at the lock down stage yet. Assume you won’t be going anywhere for 3 to 6 months minimum
