I don’t understand this Scott Mills scandal. He was investigated by police 10yrs ago over alleged offences 25+ years ago, but no action was taken and case was closed. Now he gets instantly fired over same thing? The BBC needs to explain why, surely?

@PaulTassi Paul do you think some people are holding off buying it for fear that the game might get shut down? I’m usually multi platform with games like this but currently just invested on PS as don’t want to waste my money if that happens.

The Labour MPs defending Starmer on the media and online should be asked (and should ask themselves) what they would say if this was a Conservative PM.

Yeah no doubt! I've noticed PC and consoles have different things that should be across the board For example - PC can press esc on the main menu to see what's being tracked and remove certain items but I couldn't figure out for the life of me on Xbox. I agree on QoL is needed. I'd also like to see a way to compare guns, shells, ect stats Bec not many people realize each shell has different starting stats to compliment it's playset.

My thoughts on Marathon : (Before that, bit of context on my extraction shooter player profile) I really miss The Cycle Frontier. It was my most favorite Extraction Shooter as it had some of the most innovative mechanics for the genre at the time. The game had lots of "QoL features", yet it was quite hard in terms of survivability. And the pace was really good. I liked Arc Raiders, but had enough of the game after 1 alpha + 2 beta (prob around 60h total). Third person view + lack of interesting progression (except gear wise) + friendly oriented gameplay didn't hook me mid/long term. After playing Marathon the whole weekend, I can definitely say it's much more than I thought. First open beta was a shit show, I definitely didn't believe the hype before the server slam considering how bad some meta game decisions were. But this time I'm hooked. Knowing Arc Raiders opened the genre to SO many players and SO many "casual / chill / coop" players, I'm not shocked lots of people are refunding Marathon. It's a very different game, much more difficult both in terms of survivability but also in terms of how un-intuitive things can be. So here are my lists of cons and pros... 🔻 Cons : - UI not intuitive (tho you get used to it after ~2h tbh). Some icons are hard to understand at first - Weapon mods management is horrible (let me drag out mods + inspect weapons mods without having to equip them) - We need a damage on runners counter in the raid summary - I'd like to be able to batch sell (can we?) - I genuinely think we get too much free stuff (especially agents chests) - First map can feel boring at first. Especially compared to the other two. - Let me zoom-in on the mini map! - Vegetation / rocks props definitely aren't as good as interiors - I'd like to see more UESC non-biped bots types - Too much turrets on map 3 :') 💚 Pros: - For the vast majority, PvP feels fair - PvE is challenging which is good! (C'mon guys, it's really not that hard) - The game feels very much like a Sandbox. There's a lot of mechanics combo to do - Raids pacing is on point - Weapons feel varied in types / gunplay - I love how attachements make weapons rarer - At around lvl 30, I've almost exclusively played triage. It's still fun and I still have a lot of fun time ahead discovering other shells gameplay. - Factions skill trees are well designed and progression is quite deep. - Meta progression is quite different from other extraction shooters. Which makes the whole thing more interesting to me. Arc Raiders cache progression and loot felt like a chore compared to this one, somehow. - The more you progress, the more theory crafting you can do with ur shell. - Rook (scav) cross progression with regular progression is super smart! I really like how the game makes us find quests objectives! It's not too hard, but also don't put a marker across the map. - Cool to have a little bit (1/3) of friend's quests xp - Maps have events! (Most people might not know) - Map 3 is insane in terms of level design, puzzles and dynamism - Factions designs are all really cool. Loved their trailers - Lore is quite deep and I'm enjoying listening to agents between quests - Codex missions add extra progression and there's free cosmetics to unlock - Art Direction is insane to me - In-game atmosphere is really good - Gameplay sound feels on point for me. Easy to hear enemies and pint point their position. Can't wait to see what's next!

Nothing is proved yet Zack. The fact that you are spreading misinformation is appalling for someone in your position. To date no one has been allowed to see any evidence of casualties or even the site itself. The regime says it’s America or Israel. The Americans say they were nowhere near the area. Here’s what Iranians inside Iran say: IRGC blew it up themselves to fill it up with dead bodies of children they’ve kept on ice hidden away in cold storage from the January slaughters to put on display in order to blame their aggressors. The fact that we have not seen the evidence yet is a red flag as we know the regime would have gleefully paraded those images on television and all over the internet. Most probably they were caught on film transferring the bodies hence why there is now a media black out on this story, as well as a full internet blackout. As Iranians we know how this regime operates. We’re talking about new levels of evil. So any narrative like the one you are pushing Zack actually supports the regime in their “don’t care how many die as long as we stay in power” quest. For the love of God and humanity, please stop. #IranMassacre #IranIsraelWar

Israel killed 160 children in a strike on a school. It's so dystopian and grim. Even worse that the BBC look to murky the waters.

If ethnicity exists at all, which it obviously does, then English is an ethnicity. This is a simple statement of fact. It is possible to be culturally English or French or Japanese, etc, but ethnically be different. The first is “software”, the other is “hardware”. This should not be license to be cruel or unfair to people of a different ethnicity. I believe we should be fair to all ethnicities, but not pretend that one or another does not exist.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

If I moved to Japan, and lived in Japan for decades, speaking the language, integrating into society, contributing to the economy. Would I be ethnically Japanese? No. No I would not. I would never pretend to be. Nor would that apply to India, Thailand, Mexico, Denmark or anywhere else. So why is England different? Of course there is an English ethnicity. I am entirely bemused by how so many argue against that. It’s just a fact. Politicians who say otherwise are cowards. This is painfully obvious. Restore Britain’s position is clear. English ethnicity exists - it’s the only sodding data point that the Government collects on anything. Of course someone who is not of that ethnicity can be British, obviously. But it equally does not mean that the English ethnicity is imaginary. Those two things can be true at the same time. I got in trouble years ago for suggesting that the footballer Paul Pogba was French, but not ethnically French. It’s insanity. That is just a factual position. Common sense, clearly. Separately, Restore Britain has said from the very start - owning a British passport does not make you British. We have seen how lazily those documents have been frittered away. Holding that piece of paper does not automatically make you British, we are very clear on that. Is the Egyptian lunatic Alaa Abd El-Fattah British? He has a passport. Restore Britain says NO. No, he is not and he should be stripped of that paper and deported. Being British encompasses so much more than that, it means so much more than that. It is not simply a piece of paper. It is culture, shared beliefs, patriotism, language, a common understanding of what is right and wrong. That has nothing to do with ethnicity, obviously. But for even daring to suggest that English ethnicity exists I’ll be roundly attacked. It is just a fact. Every other country in the world manages to acknowledge ethnicities exist without descending into hysteria. England should be able to do the same.
