I want to stream Morrowind with mods, but I also just wanna experience the vanilla game too. It feels like a sin to do my first full playthrough with mods that change either gameplay aspects or the way it looks.

@MythicMgames Different kind of clunky. In Morrowind, it still feels like you're fighting against an enemy. In KCD, it feels like you're fighting against the camera.

People are saying that the combat is terrible and/or clanky, but I'm still a Morrowind player. I've been training on clanky combat for my entire life.

@Gabe20206 @ManyATrueNerd There is doubt. Fyr tried it on a few others, but by the time you meet him you're already quite strong. And the disease is in the very early stages for you as well.

I genuinely can't think of a game that's done anything more interesting with 'the hero of prophecy' trope than Morrowind, where it's 100% unclear if you're the Chosen One or just an imposter, given many people only support your claim out of aligned interests or personal loyalty.

@EstherGoddo_ She's a Gensin fan. She's wrong but I can see where she's coming from. Imagine having to engaged with the game's mechanics to experience it's story and be a fan but the game goes out of it's way to be as unintuitive as possible.

I simply don't understand why people refuse to engage with an interactive medium yet still be treated as an equal fan of said medium. Like yeah man if you can't do the bare minimum of playing the game you aren't a fan, idk what's so complicated about this

@lastchalice @Fallout @bethesda @Obsidian @Xbox Replayed them both and I find myself resonating more with Fallout 3. There's something about exploring the Capital Wasteland that the Mojave or even the Commonwealth doesn't have.

From as far back as Daggerfall, all Elder Scrolls combat is "slap things a bunch and step in and out" That's not the argument, the argument is that Morrowind was shit and Oblivion/Skyrim is magically better. When it's the same process, it's just that you miss in Morrowind and Oblivion/Skyrim you hit no matter what but it does no damage if you're underskilled.
