@Sandersmit83 Drives slower then the speed limit everywhere but the highway unfortunately. Even on the highway i have to nudge it to drive 100. Not great yet. Considering unsubscribing until the max speed setting actually does something.

FSD trials are live in the Netherlands. The most common reaction from people I know is: ‘It’s really impressive and safe, but it drives too slowly, so I won’t subscribe.’

@Ldnbox Im sure, but seems like they are telling on themselves. Its one of the main reasons Ive stuck with long established tech companies up to this point because they are less likely to have random employees poking around in my data. Or maybe not?

I am genuinely impressed by mainstream media outlets ability to find absolute nobodies in cybersecurity. It's remarkable. I am often left speechless. There has been dozens occasions, especially as of recent, where some media outlet will be like, "Today as a special guest is

@splendid_pete That's what they say on the internet right. But that's not the real reason. I work with a few of the electricity companies and the instability of renewable is the problem. The Dutch had to replace their meters with digital ones so they can remotely turn off specific houses.

The EU has the most stable electricity grid in the world (ENSTO-E), the lowest blackout minutes per capita, the largest share of renewables, and Norway isn’t even in the EU. And “far-western Russia” is literally St. Petersburg, a city that buys German turbines because Russia can’t build its own.
IrishSerpent 🇮🇪🌈🐍@irish_serpent

@splendid_pete European innovation will soon be confined to Norway and the far-western part of Russia because the EU has destroyed our electricity supply with these idiotic green policies.

I’m not trying to come across as dismissive, but it seems like there’s a gap in understanding the technical complexities of the issues you’re talking about in your videos. This applies to both you and @PirateSoftware as well lately It’s easy to comment broadly, but diving into the specifics of anti-cheat systems and their role in gaming requires a deeper look at the problem space. anti-cheat drivers aren’t implemented just for the lols. They’re designed to tackle sophisticated threats like kdmappers, VBS implant cheats, DMA cheats, EFI bootkit cheats, and the increasingly a new threat surface SMM cheats. These are real, evolving attack vectors that can undermine the integrity of competitive gaming ecosystems. If you’re skeptical about anti-cheats, that’s fair, but dismissing them without understanding their purpose overlooks the technical challenges they address. Instead of focusing frustration on game companies, consider redirecting that energy toward issues like OEM vendors shipping RGB lighting drivers with vulnerabilities that allow read/write memory access often pre installed on your machine. These are far more exploitable and widespread than many realize. Game companies have a legitimate interest in protecting their games and ensuring a fair competitive environment. While it’s okay to disagree, it’s important to recognize that these attack vectors exist and won’t be mitigated without proactive measures from anti-cheat teams. Dismissing their efforts doesn’t negate the real threats they’re combating.
Low Level@LowLevelTweets

@vxunderground I mean to be fair I think kernel mode anti cheat is a bad software pattern. It puts an unnecessary amount of risk in the kernel, for no meaningful reason. But I hear what you’re saying.

I’m eating lab grown meat the second it’s mass market ready. It’s biologically identical to animal meat and will reduce suffering more than any technology in the history of our planet as long as enough people switch over from factory farmed meats.

Introducing DolphinGemma, an LLM fine-tuned on many years of dolphin sound data 🐬 to help advance scientific discovery. We collaborated with @dolphinproject to train a model that learns vocal patterns to predict what sound they might make next. It’s small enough (~400M params) to run directly on Pixel 9 phones used in the ocean! A very cool step toward enabling interspecies communication.
